Stihl FS90R has 10mmx x 1.0 threads, yes it will.

How do you get more string out when it wears down?

Tap it on a hard surface. It will feed out some string, and the excess will be removed by the cutter on the trimmer head (you didn't remove that, did you?). If you tap in the grass to do this, it will create a little burnout like those alien crop circles.

will it mount on a 3/8 fine thread stud. (not left hand thread)

It comes with a 3/8"-24 bushing that is right handed, for Echo GT series and others.

Will it fit my stihl 110 km?

In looking at the paperwork, I do not see that model noted. The Stihl models noted are in the FS--- series.Ken
