Pfaltzgraff Logan 16 Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Blue Ombre

I've been searching high and low for the perfect dinnerware set for our wedding registry and after countless hours of research I chose this set (Logan) and I'm so happy that I did. It has kind of like a glaze pottery look to it but also goes with my coastal beach decor. I love that the bowls have handles so less chance of me dropping them.I loved them so much that I bought a second set. I bought them off the "second chance" section. 2 pieces were broke but the company sent me the replacement. You couldn't beat the price, $32. I was looking for something a little unusual and not heavy so I'm very happy with my choice.

I purchased the Logan design- a difficult choice because this company makes beautiful designs! I was very concerned about breakage after reading reviews; however, our 2 sets for 8 place settings arrived in perfect condition! The deciding factor for our choice was the bowl design- the handles are great! This is perfect for our home with a lake view. Thumbs up.

Update: after getting 2 sets with broken bowls and plates we finally got 2 complete sets. Packing needs to be improved, double boxed and air bags or other material is needed.The dishes look great and are well made. The handles on the bowls do not get hot when used in the microwave which is a plus. Over great set of dishes.I love the dishes they are what I expected but 3 out of the 4 plates are quarter size chips on them. That is the reason for one star. Called Amazon and they are replacing them. Let's see what happens with the replacement set.

I ordered 2 sets of this dinnerware. The 1st box arrived and I loved the pattern! Small bubble like imperfections noted on the glaze, but beautiful!My 2nd box arrived and ALL my dinner plates were broken!

This set is even more attractive in person than in the pictures. The color of my set is lighter and greener than the display photo. It's still blue, but the green and gray undertones are there. I love the ombre effect and the nice large size of the bowls and plates. I have never seen bowls with handles like this, but they are fun. The mugs might just be my favorite with the classic shape and simple, attractive design. These dishes are microwave and dishwasher safe. I received this product as a gift. This is my honest review.

My son and I both like the color blue so when picking out our dinnerware we chose "Logan" Stoneware which is from the Pfaltzgraff Co. who started as a pottery shop over 200 years ago. This is a set of 16 pieces that includes, 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates, 4 double handled bowls and 4 mugs. They are both dishwasher and microwave safe so of course that is exactly what we wanted. What stood out to us about the "Logan" Stoneware, was how the lines and markings gave off a sense of movement, and along with their white color bodies they were blue ombre. Meaning that the colors and tones of blue shade into each other. They are so beautiful, and to bring a burst of color to the setting only the salad plates are covered in blue. What I liked the best was when I found out they were made with a reactive glaze, which because of the metal oxides used in the liquid mix the reactive colors create multitonal and multicolored effects. There will be unique variations in color saturation and the pattern. Meaning that no two pieces will be a like. I really like that the most, they aren't copies of each other. I like this dinnerware set so much I think I will be looking at what they have for holiday dinnerware.

I have been a Pfaltzgraff fan for, literally, decades, but never so much as I am now. They have really upped their game of late, with one beautiful pattern after another. One of their recent offerings is this set in the Logan pattern. It is a seductive smoky blue that is almost ethereal in nature. I found the color to be not quite as blue as in the picture, but with a bit more gray. As shown, the dinner plates, bowls, and mugs, have a nice band of color, whereas salad plate is fully covered and textured as to give it both a wonderful look and feel. Now let’s talk about the bowls. I absolutely love these! Finally, a company that makes a bowl with a bit of style. This one, with the double handles, is a lot of fun. Those handles come in very handy when serving soup. The bowls are also excellent for serving cereal, salad, or dessert. The truly nice thing about the recent patterns produced is that they are interchangeable with each other. With this pattern you can add pieces from other collections to elevate the formality. Recommended.
