NeilMed Sparkling Seawater Extra Strength Nasal Saline Spray 125 mL

Different from other nasal sprays that I have tried. No mediciney smell; rather a slightly effervescent feeling and, since its seawater, it reminded me of the beach!

It works great but omg does it sting! Like bees in your sinuses.

I have used Neil Med’s Hypertonic Nasal Spray for years and have liked it very much. It has a specially angled nasal spray piece on it that works very well to direct the nasal spray in just the right place. I tried their new spray because the usual kind I get was in available. However, it was just too strong for my nasal tissues. I may just be one of those sensitive types but others may be very pleased with it. The ocean air around a beach is known to clear out one’s sinuses, so….. it is worth a try!

I was excited to order this and really wanted to love this product. We use nasal wash twice daily and this style is very convenient. I will start with the positives… I really like the nozzle style. It allows the spray to be directed easily. The larger bottle size is also nice; less packaging waste and all that. But … I had hoped that the sparkling seawater would be somehow significantly better than the original Daily Care variety offered by Arm & Hammer. To be honest, I cannot tell much difference, except in the price. I did not find that it was especially more effective with the slight effervescence and I could tell no difference in the effect of the salinity. For nearly twice the price over the A&H Daily Care, I cannot justify the difference. So, while I really like the product and I applaud the new nozzle, the value for the money has to drop this by one star. I would buy it again if it was more comparable in price.

I decided to give this a try. I have a very sensitive nose after reconstructive surgery in the past. I have issues with dryness and filtering everyday stuff in the air. I actually really like this spray. Carbonation is definitely something you can feel, but it’s light and feels pleasant. I think this does a better job than traditional saline, including ones with menthol etc. Will buy again.

Helps open my nasal passages and improves nighttime breathing. It has made a big difference for me day-to-day, so I am glad I learned about it from a doctor.
