The instructions are easy to follow. The parts are cut accurately, and it's always clear what you have to do with each part. It's nice that they include some duplicates of the very smallest or most difficult parts.It's not as simple as just putting the pieces together. You have to do a lot of shaping. Some of the parts are really hard to bend nicely. A few, like the outside of the wheels, bend into a nice curve around a pen's diameter, but others require some frustrating tweezer gymnastics. Sometimes, if you fail to shape a part nicely, it messes up the occlusion and now the tabs won't go into their corresponding slots.I recommend this kit for people who understand the challenge of twisting around and bending lots of little metal parts.It is a very cute and realistic mail truck.

I liked this one. Similar steps involved with most vehicles models you’ll build except for the “boxiness” of it, which I enjoyed folding and assembling.

So, I’ve never assembled one of these before and I’m not sure what I was thinking when I ordered it. At first I felt like although it looked pretty rough, it was going ok and I was happy I got as far as I did. However, this is not at all for newbies. I ended up having to toss it before it was finished because two main pieces broke in half. As you can see I attempted to tape the bottom of the LLV so I could finish the build but eventually broke the frame as well. Would’ve looked really neat but if you’ve never done this before, start with something else. The pieces are pretty fragile and without the proper tools you won’t get nice lines and curves and could easily break the pieces. 3 stars because as you can see by other reviews, people have successfully accomplished the build and it looks great! So it’s probably user error but also, the directions are only semi clear. In the sense that certain things would’ve been a lot easier had I had the knowledge that doing some of the bends for the inserts before constructing the frames would’ve potentially saved the frame since it broke as I was attempting to bend the prongs for the inserts. Anyway…. May or may not ever try again lol good luck!

The whole model is less than 4 inches long, and 3 inches tall. I love it.

I have assembled many of these metal models and some are so much more fragile than other ones. This is a very fragile one. I had to buy a second one of these in order to accomplish completing one item. There are several pieces that are so very thin and they break very easily. I got this as a gift for my Posty Person. I was quite annoyed at how fragile the pieces were, but once I got the second one, I was extremely careful with the assembly. There are some very small pieces as well, so great care is needed in order to assemble this correctly and look good also. My Posty Person Loved It!!!! She has been delivering our mail for over 18 years. It did turn out very nicely.

My wife bought this as a gift for my kid but it was my task to assemble. I've not done this before and 3 pieces broke early. I'm giving up as I can't imagine this is a good use of anyone's time.

I bought this for my bf cause he loves models but this is like a whole level. If you get anyone these be ready for tiny intricate pieces but the end result is very satisfying. LOTS of patience
