I have been feeling burned out for years. I had a child at 43, and in spite of being in shape and exercising regularly, eating well and not abusing my body, the stress of taking care of a child and working full time has taken a toll on my ability to handle stress. My hormone panel (including adrenals) and thyroid has been off for years, as hypothyroidism and an assortment of other issues run in my family—and as a hippie-dippie organic vegan, I tend only to do holistic healing; naturally, I turned to Gaia's line for both thyroid and adrenal support (among others). I've been using Gaia's products for about two years now, but I only started buying this online because it is much cheaper than in stores. I had gone off of it for about three months and started feeling cold, hungry, and sluggish again because I got incredibly busy and forgot to pick it up every time I was out, but now that it's shipped to me, there's no reason to ever have hypothyroid symptoms again. When I started up after those three months of being off these miraculous little pills, it took me about a month to see physical results (weight loss, healthier hair and skin, etc), but within the first week I was feeling internal results (more energy, reduced hunger and appetite, not freezing in the Florida heat). I am 26 years old. The last time I got bloodwork done they said "one of my thyroid numbers was borderline low." I didn't really know what this meant, but it was not surprising since I have always been a very low energy person and just accepted this about myself. However I had begun to feel truly exhausted every day after work (I'm a teacher) and could not get through the day without a nap after school.
