GREAT COOKING OIL
I am not convinced that Safflower Oil will help you loose weight. Sorry Dr. OZ. HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is the very best Cooking Oil that I have ever used. Even when frying hashbrowns, the oil stayed clean enough to reuse twice. I forgot that I had the burner on high one day, and it took a very long time before I noticed the oil slightly smoking. It adds NO unpleasant taste to foods you fry like some oils, and in fact I really like to thin my Ranch Salad Dressing down with a couple tablespoons of Safflower oil. Yes it changes the taste slightly, BUT I LIKE THE NEW TASTE BETTER. I can HIGHLY recommend this as your primary cooking oil, and I like it FAR BETTER than even Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The Price is reasonable too.

Good oil but not an intense sesame flavor sensation
If you are looking for a strong and somewhat nutty sesame taste, this is not the oil you want. Get oil from ROASTED seeds instead. A bit more but you will use less for the flavor you want.I'll use this up and switch. I actually infused the last of my roasted oil into this bottle and it helped a lot!

Healthy oil for cooking at high tempuratures
I bought sesame oil, not for the flavor but because I believe it's the healthiest oil, extra virgin olive oil excepted, there is. Of course olive oil is not good for cooking at high temperatures whereas this oil is. I like the size of the bottles too. My only complaint is that, like so many oils, this is packaged in plastic. I prefer, for environmental reasons, glass packaging, but of course that increases the weight and shipping costs and would thus add cost to the product. But as far as the product goes, it's great. I read one reviewer complain that it does not have the "Asian sesame" aroma or flavor. That's true but depending on one's perspective, that can be a good thing. It can be used as a cooking oil for any dish and won't ruin the flavor because of it. Read up about the health benefits of sesame oil and I believe you'll be happy with this product. If you're an Amazon Prime member, you'll be even happier.

Cheap, inferior product
I'm not sure what kind of oil this is, but it doesn't smell or taste anything like sesame. Actual sesame oil has a very strong, toasty smell and noticeable flavor. I did not enjoy cooking with this oil at all, and it has been sitting unused after the first failed attempt. Unfortunately I waited too long to try it out to return it. Don't waste your money!

Great oil with many uses
I've found if I take a spoonful of this daily, it improves the health of my skin and I get a lot of compliments. I like to use it for cooking as it has a high smoke point and I feel the flavor is appropriate in a wide range of dishes. I also like to use it in in homemade skin and hair care products in small amounts. This is a great multipurpose oil! I can get it here cheaper than I can find it in local stores as well, bonus!

product quality is fine, but way overpriced
I originally purchased this as an automatic reorder. I eventually cancelled as I started getting charged shipping and the price is close to double what I originally paid. Cold pressed sesame oil is great for multiple food uses, and healthy. My lower rating is strictly due to the prohibitive cost. If you can find it for significantly less, buy it. Otherwise, look for Spectrum brand (price varies from $7 to $9 at Publix). NOTE: these two products are NOT toasted sesame oil, which is much darker colored, and has a much stronger taste. It's fine to add to teriyaki dishes, but not for general cooking.

Wok-A-Doodle-Doo, This Stuffs for You...
Despite what some Asian cookbooks say about not using safflower oil in a wok because its polyunsaturated fats tend to "gum up" the sauces, I have not found that to be true and the very high smoke point of this oil (over 500 degrees) makes it great to use on my electric stove with a flat-bottomed wok on max-high heat. Peanut oil smokes initially, safflower oil does not. The Hain product is odorless and tasteless...other than tasting fresh when opened, and unless you can find home-sized supplies of cotton seed oil, you won't be able to buy an oil with a higher smoke point. At only a couple of tablespoons used at a time for stir frys, anything more than this 32 oz bottle would be too much, so even the size is perfect to use and store in the kitchen without risk of it going rancid over time or creating storage issues. Get yourself some...
