This is so much fun when you get the hang of it. You’re going to need a butane torch. Don’t try using your grill torch or personal lighter. You need that high heat being forced into the wood chips for a few consecutive seconds. Once you get the wood chips glowing and charred you’re golden. With the exception of the butane torch this kit has everything you need. The little chimney sweep brush is awesome so you’re not trying to clean it out with toothpicks.There is four wood chips to use. They’re small containers, but a great way to figure out what flavor you prefer. But it’s definitely more than enough to use several times since s little wood chips goes a long way.I’ve actually used this for more than cocktails. If you have a container that the chimney will cover the opening (like a taller glass or canister) you can smoke all sorts of things like precooked meats and marshmallows. It adds a whole new flavor to foods and is a fantastic way to get that campfire flavor in the middle of winter.

I like it just have no use because i dont have torch

My husband has now tried all these and his favorites were the cherry and apple wood (comes with four total). These are super fun and with them can create a smoked whiskey thats top level the way a restaurant would. Super fun for guests as well. Just take a bit of the chips and place in the center and light with a butane lighter (not included but i had one for when i make creme brulles)

Great airflow and smoke quality. Woodchip containers were difficult to open, however.
