The only product I have found to work for cold sores. However, you need to apply it right when you notice the cold sores forming. If applied right away, in my experience, this product prevent it from getting bigger and clears the cold sores within a day or two.

My wife used this cfor her cold sores instead of pills and it worked great. She will probably stick with pills AND this, but this seemed to be just as effective as her pills.

I have, in fact, recommended this product to everyone who needs it.Otherwise, it's a little greasy and has the faintest odor, but you can definitely ignore the odor and once it's applied, it doesn't really matter how it feels, since you shouldn't be touching it in the first place. Order this cause I wanted to try something other than abreva since that stuff can be so expensive. Ordered 1 pack but they actually sent me 6. Lol. So that's the one plus side. Stuff feels like aquaphor, so it doesn't dry out as fast. But I don't think it heals mine as fast as abreva does at least.
