I have used this type of pencil before. These are not the quality of the previous ones, but they are safer. This pencil has a softer lead. There will be some lead breakage when sharpening. Works best when used right after hand washing. (I typically do not wet the lead).

Very disappointed - very poor quality - broke on first useage and subsequent sharpenings - quantity over quality I'm afraid. Quality control needs to be tightened up I would suggest. [ I am from a manufacturing background ]
