The Kiridashi came in a box and the knife was wrapped in white tissue paper, and a cardboard sheath. Included with the knife was a leather sheath, cord and paper cloth to wife off excess oil. My plan was to do a paracord wrap, but about 75% of the knife and handle fit into the leather sheath. This means the paracord wrap ends up in the sheath, which is either too tight or stretches out the leather. I decided to take off the paracord wrap around the handle. The bare handle is hard on the hands if you're not a tradesman or artisan. I see two solutions. One, make a kydex sheath that does not cover the majority of the handle, so you can paracord around 2/3 of the handle. Or, two, sand the edges of the handle so they're not as sharp. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Maybe I should do more physical work and harden my hands. One issue I found was that the tip was folded over. I don't know if the knife came this way or if I banged the tip accidentally. I thought the tip was pointy when I opened the box. The tip is very pointy and fine, like a paper-thin needle point. I ground down the folded tip with a double sided diamond sharpener with a 600 grit side and a 1200 grit side. The new tip is not as pointy, but it is much stronger. No complaints here. The blade was sharp enough to push cut newspaper. The knife's biggest selling point, in my opinion, is that it is beautiful. The workman ship looks very good for a $25 knife. The leather sheath is also very nice.

Very pleased with my purchase. If you want a neck knife that is well-made, super sharp out of the box, affordable, and will turn heads, this is it. The sheath seems very well constructed and should last a long time. The edges of the handle were a little sharp, but 10 minutes with a rough piece of sandpaper took care of that. I wrapped it with bank line for a little more comfort.

I bought a returned/damaged (tip was busted from a drop) one from Amazon, and it's a great little blade. I was able to get it back in shape in under 5 mins. The edges are sharp though, so you may want to wrap the handle in some kind of cordage. The sheath is nice too, I love good leather sheaths and I'd believe it if the leather cost more than the knife to produce. No reason not to buy one if you're considering it at all!

This is a cool little knife. I have several BPS knives and like them. This is the only flawed one I've received. The blade tip wasn't finished well and had a burr that I had to file away. Now the tip is slightly flat. Not that big of a deal.

Neat lil knife. The edges of the handle were a lil sharp so I knocked em down with a file and did a paracord wrap. Touched up the edge and polished it. It’s a big razor with a handle. Good value. Sheath I feel may tear through. This thing is sharp!

Not a one sided chisel grind Kirirdashi. Sharp edges all around handle. Design combined with handle up carry you don’t want to have something catch cord because the sharp handle and your neck won’t get along. Looks nice and good sheath but needs work for me.

So I have a few BPS Knives and thought this was interesting as I've never owned a kiridashi before and knowing BPS quality I took the plunge. This thing is cool and crazy sharp, I see it being used in allot of projects in the near future.

Ein absolut super preis-leistungs-verhältnis . Allein, die messerscheide hat eine super Qualität . Das Messer ist Rasiermesser scharf. Das Messer ist aus einem Blech ausgestanzt und hatte noch scharfe Kanten. Es kostet ungefähr eine Minute Zeit und ein bisschen Schleifpapier um die Kanten Weg zu machen. Für mich gar kein Problem. Werde noch etwas Paracord um den Griff wickeln, dann ist es perfekt.

Il disegno del coltello è, nonostante tutto, attraente, minimalista e che non fa' rimpiangere un uso duro che sicuramente non faresti con coltelli più prestigiosi per evitare di segnarli. Però poi, il rapporto qualità prezzo, ti frena un po' in un uso duro perché costa troppo riacquistare il rozzo e spartano coltello. Molto bello ed essenziale il fodero!
