BioMane Horse Tailbag with Secure Dual Straps (Black (Standard Horse))

This has been by far the best tailbag I’ve used yet.After about a year and a half of having our goats, they decided they would start nibbling away at our horse’s tails. We didn’t want to separate our animals since they’ve always been together, but we also didn’t want our horse’s tails to be eaten off either. We tried bitter spray, didn’t work. Tried leave in conditioner, didn’t work. Tried braiding the remainder of their tails and wrapping the braid up with vet wrap. The wrap would fall out sometimes and we would notice a lot of breakage at the border of the wrap. Tried an online tail wrap company with lots of great reviews. Ordered beautiful colored braided wraps for their tails. Our gelding broke his in less than 2 weeks and it was un-repairable. Our mare’s would frequently loosen and fall down or fall out. They were also time consuming to put on and we’d have to re-do them about every 3-4 days.Getting frustrated and exhausted, but not wanting to give up, I came across these and figured I’d give them a shot. I’m SOOO glad we did. Super easy to use. Stay in place. No breakage like we had from the vet wraps. There are overlaying double Velcro straps that keep it in place and ours haven’t fallen out once yet. The horses still have the functionality of their tails and can swat away the flies that have started to reappear. And those ornery goats aren’t eating them anymore! We’ve had them for a few weeks now on both of our horses and I just re-did them for the first time just to re-braid and tuck the new growth into the bag.Again, by far the best I’ve came across so far for our horses and intended purpose. Highly recommend!

These are the best quality tail bags that you will find. My horses are very destructive and I’ve tried a lot of different kinds, including purchasing many from my friends that have small businesses making them. None of the others have ever held up to my horses destructive tendencies, but these do. I purchased one for each of my horses and no matter what they put them through they stay on longer and don’t fall apart. They are high-quality and I don’t think I will purchase any other type in the future. Great purchase!

These tail bags stay in rain or shine!

It is so loud it spooked my horse (who is quite desensitized). Sounds kinda like a tarp being flapped. I will not be using it. I was really excited because I had heard such good things about it.

I really like the fringe on this tail wrap. I braided my horse's tail and applied the wrap. The wrap lasted 3 days before the velcor ripped off and I found the wrap on the pasture ground.
