LOVE this product.
worked exactly as described. it's a 2 step process, so realize it's going to take you about an hour to complete the look, but trust me, sooooo worth it. 1st step is to lighten the hair, which takes about 30 minutes. the hair bleaches out to a very light blonde, without any burning or irritation. this bleach is like no hair bleach i've ever used before. works super fast, doesn't stink, and doesn't burn. you wash off the bleach and then apply the color, leave on for 20-30 minutes. the Malibu Betty color itself looks navy when you put it on, but don't worry... when you rinse it off the hair is a nice aqua blue. the color easily washes off the skin, no staining. and the color does NOT bleed onto your clothes when you sweat. there is enough color in the tube left to touch it up if it starts to fade from daily washing. and with daily (often twice daily) showers, mine didn't lighten or fade for 3 weeks. the information in the box says it safe to use on eyebrows or facial hair. haven't tried that (i'm a female, so the only other thing i could color is eyebrows), but i color the upstairs hair all kinds of colors as well, might be interesting to color the eyebrows too! at any rate, works great, and i have since tried 3 other Betty Beauty colors. all of them have worked well and lasted a long time. it's fun and relatively simple to use. highly recommended!

So easy and SO much FUN!!
I LOVE IT!!! In case your wondering, I put this on my beard myself, it didn't "rub off" of my girlfriend!! Oh and speaking of rubbing off, it has never gotten on my clothes or pillow case, EVER! I got the purple too, but it is more subtle, Suttle is something I am not! I like the purple but I LOVE the blue! Both colors are super easy to use I have gotten multiple uses out of it. YES multiple uses!! Unless you have a Betty that reminds you of a Rhododendron, I think you should get at the very least 2 uses, I have gotten more then that, but as you can see I have more of a putting green. The dye doesn't stink (and I would know WAY better they you ladies!! No fears of your lover "turning up his nose!") It doesn't burn my eyes with fumes, no fuss to take care of it. It does fad faster then head hair dye. I re apply it before my shower every few weeks, (yes I do shower MORE then every few weeks!) then shave (I know, I know, you probably won't be shaving your legs if it is on Betty, but hey you might figure a way to do it!) The blue slowly fades over a month or so but it still looks good, it just tones down a bit. Unless your in the habbit of showing off Betty due to some kind of strange Turets tick, it is not a problem, I promise you! In fact if it is, you may come by as often as you like and i will be HAPPY to help!!! Keep it looking perfect! I can not think of one negative thing, other than I wish they offered more vibrant fun colors, they do have a fair number of fun colors, but hey, it would be fun to have green for Christmas or St Patties day! One last comment, more of a personal note from a person of the male heterosexual group. Please ladies it is only Betty, please don't be afraid to have fun, surprise your lover! I wish mine would! Nope it is not a deal breaker- either way, it is just fun! And after all what is the point of being alive if you dont have a little fun?..... or a LOT OF FUN!! Have fun ladies!! XOXO

Good but probably not for me long term
I bought this to try something new with my COVID leg and underarm hair (TMI? :)). The bleaching part is great, effective and gentle. The color does not dye the skin which amazes me! However, the colors are not vibrant (I’ve tried pink and blue) and in fact were so dark on my legs that it basically just looked like normal hairy legs. This is probably due to sparse hair. Underarms are a bit better because all the hair is in one place and the color is therefore more obvious. Still too dark for my tastes. So, I will only use the bleach on my legs, maybe some other colors on the underarms (I think pink looked better than blue). But, for only bleaching body hair, this is a high price for the amount I need. If you are actually using this for the area it’s designed for, I bet it would be great though! Don’t want to mess around with any harsh chemicals down there!

Clown orange result when trying for "dark auburn"
Edit - Do NOT use the lightener and you'll get a nice auburn color with the color/developer alone. Upped my rating to 5 stars bc I could get the desired color this way. I used the product to try and achieve "dark auburn" per the instructions. My hair is actually auburn and the hair to be colored dowm there is more of a brown. I ended up with bright, Bozo-like, horrible orange hair in the place I was coloring (i.e., not the hair on my head). The directions specify that the longer you leave it on, the brighter the color. It recommended 20 min for lightener for "dark auburn" and 30 minutes for medium to light auburn. For bright it said to leave it on for 30 minutes and then repeat for another 15 minutes. Then for color, it said to leave on for 20-30 minutes. I used the lightener for not quite 9 minutes and it was turning blonde...As soon as I saw it turning I washed and rinsed, but it was already too late and bleach/platinum/white blonde was the result! Then I added the color...and bright orange was the final end result. I may try again with just the color, but since I shaved the hideous orange hair off, I'll have to wait for some hair growth before I try again. It was seriously a color that should never even exist. It definitely turned my hair a color that exists nowhere in nature. I'll update this if a better result comes out with color only, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

and my feelings are pretty mixed. The Good
I used this product not on my pubic hair but on my arm pits, and my feelings are pretty mixed. The Good: The bleach step works very well, does not run and strips your natural color down without turning brassy or yellow at all. The coloring process is also quite clean, it stays in place well and I found that it does not stain the surrounding skin as I had imagined it would. The color is actually very nice and exactly what I was looking for. The Bad: it started fading by the end of the very first day. In about 24 hours it ended up fading out or rubbing off completely, and while the process does not take terribly long, it is entirely too awkward to continually prop your arms up in the air for 30mins every single day to retouch it.

Not that Great....
Double process...product did not produce the color shown and faded in about two showers. I had used the red once and that was okay, but again, this product fades quick. Nice for a one-off but that's it.
