There are a great many of these statues to choose which depict the famous painting of Guido Reni, on Amazon.This particular one is the best choice. Considering the context of the scene that is taking place, the body language of St. Michael’s wings is very important. This statue has strong, robust and powerfully, almost aggressively spread wings. Wings that are in battle!The statue is a little more expensive than the others, but it is also larger, made in Italy, and beautifully executed. Sometimes…you get what you pay for.

It was very, VERY well packaged, and I can see why I had to pay over 100 for it. It really is quality and made in Italy so you get what you pay for...Great detail and I love the wing spread. Seems more angular and aggressive to me as it should be considering what it represents. A lot of the other St. Michael models have very campy, almost sickly pigeon wings. But this model is beautiful and I'm glad I got it.
