Finely Ground and Mild
I got these because I couldn't find the larger flakes. In the past I only used the larger, hotter flakes. However, this finely ground powder turned out to be quite useful in some recipes, such as salad dressings where you want a subtle heat. Overall, I'm very happy that there are some kosher-certified Korean ingredients available. Thank you

Expired 2019/11/2
On the back of the Back of the package it says shelf life: printed on front. And the date is 2019/11/2! It’s 2020/4/9! That’s seven months past the expiration.

Says HOT but it"s NOT.
The package says "HOT" but its "NOT". I would normally have given 4 or 5 stars but this was not hot at all and did not have the depth of flavor other Korean Chili Flakes (Gochugaru) have. It's fresh enough just par on heat and a little shallow on flavor. I've been looking for a truly HOT Korean pepper flake but I'm thinking it doesn't exist. In my opinion Korean pepper flakes are pure pepper flesh sans seeds which is why I think this style of pepper flake rules. Korean pepper flakes (Gochugaru) all seem to have a built in safety factor that you really can't get an overdose.
