Great publication
Just as expected from this great annual periodic publication. Tons of useful information and photos.

The catalog is OK, great photos as usual plus a bit of info in each watch brand that is shown. Only thing I don't like is that they show a lot of new brands that are really not going to last for long, unknown brands, or brands with just one or two persons involved in the manufacture. They also show too many photos for certain brands, while only a very few for other brands. Still is a must have catalog for reference, prices and of course photos.

keeps me abreast
I have a Vacheron Constantin perpetual calendar that I bought new, on sale, for $13,790. The date I bought this watch was 11/25/99. This design has been out of circulation until 2013. It's back this year with a retail price of $79,000. Nice to know that my watch is not depreciating in value. My watch is in new condition. Sold as used in new condition watch it should easily bring 50 to 70% of the retail price. <(^O^)>

Love this book - it makes a great gift for someone who is into watches
This watch book make a great gift. It is packed full of awesome pictures of some of the craziest watches on the planet. Includes many details including the pricing of the watches... there are watches in this book that are a million dollars. I wish the book came in hardback - but this paperback is very high quality. I ordered the 2012 version last year and the 2013 this year and plan to get the 2014 as soon as it is available.

Great reference material for timepiece lovers
I love quality watches (even the ones I cannot afford) and its very difficult to find publications about quality watches so I was glad to find this periodical. This catalog provided all the pertinent information needed to purchase quality time pieces and is a great investment (at least I think so) for people seeking a nice watch for themselves or someone special. I plan to order this annual every year.Great for timepiece lovers.

Good review of high end watches but rather euro centric
Good review of high end watches but rather euro centric, specifically Swiss centric. Would like to see more coverage of the Japanese brands. The mid to high end seiko's deserve much more coverage. I have to remark that the photography is excellent.

Well done eye candy for watch officianato
Fun read for a dedicated watch nut like myself. Lots of eye candy. Seriously a nice book to have around but of course good for only one year. The companies change models like I change underwear, so mostly your just looking at pretty pics and company-generated PR materials. Well done though.

This review is for the KINDLE EDITION - massively abridged???
I bought the Kindle edition to check some details on a couple of specific watch models.Having bought four or five previous physical copies of the Wristwatch Annual, I am pretty familiar with the format and the coverage.Unless I am very much mistaken, the Kindle edition of this book is massively abridged. I could find neither of the two current model watches I was hoping to check. These are not obscure models from obscure brands either - they are mainstream models from mainstream brands - the Rolex Milgauss and the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto.In the Rolex section, I did not even find any illustrations of watch movements which normally appear at the end of the section for most brands so I suspect the content has been radically cut.I returned the Kindle edition as it is useless to me.Perhaps someone who owns the paperback edition of Wristwatch Annual 2013 can comment and let me know if it contains the two watches I mentioned earlier - I might buy the paperback instead. Thanks in advance.

Wristwatch Annual 2013
The "Bible" of Watch Annuals. A must have every year for any admirer of quality watches. Very comprehensive guide to watch manufacturers and technical information for individual watches. Not too many adverts unlike many other annuals and very up to date information on the latest new models.

great reference tool
Although obviously an american publication and some of the manufacturers you will not be familiar with it still gives you all the current watches on offer and there are some in there that are real gems.
