Tiny flash drive with big potential...
I already own one of these 4 GB Verbatim Clip-IT flash drives. I must say for being only 1 and a half times the size of a quarter they are pretty handy and useful. I bought one of these a few months ago from one of those big box electronic stores in my town and it works great. Just because it is smaller than most other 4 GB flash drives don't under estimate its power. It is just as powerful as a normal size flash drive. I mainly use these for quick file transfers and operating system installs. Where I work I am a network administrator and am constantly building updated images of operating systems and software to deploy to network workstations and servers. After a while of using a CD/DVD drive to install the operating system I got tired of waiting for 30 to 50 minutes to install it on each workstation or server. I just use these as bootable USB drives and install the operating system off of it in around 15 to 25 minutes depending on if it Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Between the one I own and the 5 of these that I purchased at work for use there they work great and they all fit in one USB storage case that would only hold 4 normal size flash drives. The only thing I will point out about these flash drives is that if you do plan on using the clip to clip it on a shirt or pocket it does not flex very far before it will become weak and maybe even break. I have had one Clip-IT clip already break but other than that it did not cause any performance issues and the flash drive still works as good as it did when I purchased it.

great size & form factor, durable & nice color too
I bought this expensive antiquated USB 2.0 small 4GB USB flash drive because of its bright color and great form factor. It's big enough for me to make myself a FreeBSD Install USB Flash Drive from it and that's all I need it for.Ideally, I would have preferred the exact same product but as USB 3.2 so it's faster. Likewise for all the other Verbatim Clip-It USB 2.0 Flash Drives.

Verbatim clip-it USB is a good product
The capability to clip a USB drive to a physical document is a nice feature. I have used Verbatim products since at least the mid-90s with good results. I like the size of the clip-it drive, which is the main reason I purchased the first ones. I was given as a gift a tiny gorgeous blue drive from a different company a couple years ago and was searching for more like it. The difference in the two is primarily the means to keep track of them. They are tiny after all and easy to misplace. The first USB had a little ring to attach it to a keychain or something. I wear it like a necklace on a chain. "Geek" jewelry, don't you know. Not wanting just to clip these Verbatim drives to a piece of cardboard or something so not to lose them on my desk, I have them in a sweet little ceramic bowl like a bunch of jelly beans. Yes, I have lots of them now - had to fill the bowl. The 4G storage capacity is rather small for me as I primarily transfer large image files, but is adequate. I mainly use them to move files from one computer to another not as an alternate hard drive or anything like that for long term storage.I really love the colors. That is one of the main reasons I bought them in the first place - my favorite colors. The techno world has too long been in the realm of black and gray and silver.

I have the 4GB orange Verbatim Clip-IT flash drive. ...
I have the 4GB orange Verbatim Clip-IT flash drive. Bought orange because at the time it was cheapest. I keep it in tucked all the way in, into the largest compartment of my iPhone case, not clipped because there it is less likely to be bumped or snagged when I flip my phone open (or drop it). I have started carrying it with me everywhere this way in my phone case. I exclusively store eclipse files on it for my CSC-200 Intro to Computer Systems class. I have the class twice a week in a computer lab. When in class, I plug this flash drive into the desktop there. When I am at home, I plug the flash drive into my own desktop. Sometimes I plug it into my laptop when I am working in the library or cafe. I am three months into the class and have not run into any issues with the flash drive.

Great USB for Client Files
I bought this product to use for client files when I sign over the finished product. I ended up buying about 50 of these, and I have been very happy with them. First, the size is nice since it can slide onto the pocket of a folder and not fall off while not adding much thickness to the folder. I've also used these as a paper clip which works nicely. If you are purchasing this to use as a paperclip, i'm assuming you're bundling at least 3 pages, and you should because any less than that and the Verbatim Clip falls right off. Lastly, this product comes in a range of colors that accommodate a wide array of users. I purchased the black ones, but i'm sure the other colors are made with the same quality as these.Highly recommend.

These fail to work well on two Linux systems I have, one running Ubuntu 15.04 on a Macbook Pro, and another running Debian 8 on a System76 tower. Kernel logs show them resetting around 2 times per second:usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 23 using xhci_hcd[repeated endlessly]Sometimes they mount, sometimes they don't. When they do, they are slow and unreliable.

Needs more capacity, or easier to clip on things.
I always carry a pen in my shirt pocket. I thought it would be super convenient to carry a USB drive clipped onto my pocket as well. See, there's a little ridge on the inside of the clip part that I'm pretty sure is there to keep enough tension on a small stack of paper to keep it all together. I'm sure that works quite well for that purpose, but it prevents one from simply clipping this to an article of clothing, like a shirt pocket or tie (one that looks like a tie bar would be pretty cool).I guess you could modify it and try to cut off/file down the little plastic ridge, but for only 4GB of storage, probably not worth it?

Thumb drive
Used it to back up my operating system as my future computer upgrades will not include a disc drive. Nice and compact and seemed to work well.
