I like these crash bars. They fit the bike pretty well and protect all the parts I needed protected. Hardware seems cheap but the bars themselves seem good. Install was relatively easy, had to move the bars in just the right position and tighten everything at the same time. Looks very good on the bike and adds an industrial look to it.

Ive owned this cage for 7 months 4 of which it was stored for winter. Ive ridden 5,000 miles in optimal sunny conditions. No rain, salt or snow. And the cage has CRACKED. This is the first time ive went to put supports under it since my front stand was a little wobbly. And i noticed a crack and rusting on the weld. It must have cracked a while ago and I didnt notice it till now. From terrible quality since it arrived to actually failing having never dropped my bike. Im a little upset. They gave me a minimal partial refund to cover the modification tools i had to get. Paint and a drill bit. At least they tried to rectify the situation! Im sure if it was more messed up they would have covered me fully. One side came welded crooked. It was about 5mm off which was enough to make the bolt not go in. Had to widen the hole to get the bolt in straight. Plus it came damaged in a few places. The only one that mattered was where the puck went in and it wouldnt fit. Had to hammer it round again. Id pay $80 for this cheap aluminum cage and not a penny more.

Loved that after dropping my bike and flipping it the cage meet its standards of allowing me to still have my bike will little to no damage. The cage took a whole beating and stuck it out.

The product did not fit my 2016 FZ-09. I do not recommend purchasing this.

People complained about welds or bad paint job but the welds looked fine and the paint was just fine also. 2014 fit right in with stock bolts and clearance was no issue(I’m 6’) and no shin or knees hitting. Great product so far
