Hycosan Shield Eye Drops – Preservative Free Single Ingredient Formula for Management of Dry Eyes – 280 Applications – 3ml

I have had terrible itchy sore gritty eyes and I honestly wondered if I was losing my eyesight it was so bad! I had tried many eye washes, drops and creams but with limited relief. By chance I saw these and despite the cost I decided to try. Well the first application was amazing - my eyes felt better instantly. I have continued to use them as directed. My eyes feel better with a 90 per cent improvement in the dry itching and soreness. I would thoroughly recommend this product and although it’s expensive it was worth every penny.

I can read for hours without my eyes getting sore. Very good product, if expensive but for me it is worth it. The only thing I did not like was the delivery method. It tended to go all over my face as well as in the eyes. This could do with being changed as the stuff that ends up on your face is a waste, I would have like to give this five stars but for that.

Expensive (especially as half of it ended up running down my cheeks no matter how carefully I applied it) but... excellent results.

These eyedrops were recommended by my optician as I have super dry eyes that lack the natural oil layer. The drops themselves are fine, but the bottle and application is not. The volume of product you get is tiny, especially for the price. The bottle is terrible. When trying to apply them, half the products drips down your face, which seems like such a waste. It's a shame these don't come in the same bottles as other Hycosan drops as the application with those is so much easier.

I suffer from terrible blocked oil glands in one eye which causes me light sensitivity and irritation . I usually have a headache by 5pm all around this eye . Since using these eye drops for a week , this has improved so much , I use them after my shower first thing , then again around 5pm, then overnight.This seems to be working so well for me .They are super expensive, (shop around!) , but I won’t change from these ever having wasted so much money on many, many, ineffectual eye drops over the past year.

I like that I felt instant relief as soon as I used these but for the price I expect to be able to use more than 4 times a day. The bottle is so small and it's difficult to administer. The bottle is quite stiff so not easy to squeeze. You are supposed to squeeze the bottle then turn it upside down while still squeezing it and position it over your eye and stop squeezing and let air draw in and then squeeze into the eye. You cannot feel these drops go into the eye and so far each time I've done it I did get the in my eyes but I also had some running down my face which is an expensive waste. The product itself gives great relief but if you have any hand problems or hand pain you may find this difficult. If they could put the 3ml in an even bigger bottle it would be easier to use. Go to the Opticians and ask for a sample first.

Recommended by my optometrist for dry eyes and really helped.
