Saw These on Escape to the Country (BBC)
Parsons Cockles were featured on the tv show Escape to the Country (BBC/Brit Box/Amazon), so I ordered as I had never had them before. They came today intact and double bubble wrapped. Really tasty and the brine is what makes them shine. Would buy again.Really see them in something like a clam dip, salads, and I think they suggested to fry them up with some bacon for breakfast on the show. Trying that soon!

These are the best Pickled cockles ! I grew up with these back in Belfast and I love I can get them on Amazon. Parsons is the only brand I would buy.

This product was terrible
Got it today and the package smelled terrible because the jars had leaked out… it was spoiled. I toss both jars in the trash. Packing was 1 sheet of bubble wrap. I’m sure the delivery person smelled it. I would never but again

Unique Taste
I love the "Matiz Gallego Berberechos - Cockles in Brine" product, so I figured I'd give these a shot too. While these don't taste exactly like the Matiz Gallego cockles, they are close. They are pickled, not just packed in salt water, so their taste is a bit more rich. I can't sit down and eat the entire jar in one sitting, but that's not to say I don't like them. I think it tastes great, I just have to go a bit slower when eating them. Also, I do get a bit of grit every so often while eating them, which is a slight downfall but nothing major.

Saw it on a TV Show and decided to try it
I saw this on the Brit TV show Escape to the Country and decided to order a bottle. I enjoyed the first one so much, I ordered two. Highly recommended.

Very small jar but taste was nice
I love everything pickled and I love seafood so I decided to try these pickled cockles. I feel this is the review that everyone needs as far as sizes go. I’m not too familiar with amounts and I expected the jar and cockles to be bigger but both are pretty tiny. The product itself has a good taste but I would not buy more for this price. The tamper proof button one of the the lids was raised and it says on the jar that if it is raised, to reject the product. So I could only eat one jar safely.

A Welsh tradition
Absolutely delicious. A perfect addition to salads, fish & chips, a cracker or straight from the jar. It's not for everyone, that's for sure; but if you like traditional UK & Irish flavors, you'll love Parsons.
