I Live this chain for my electric trike!! It seems to be very sturdy I feel comfortable that not just anyone can cut thru it quickly.

I like this chain. Puts my mind at a little ease, as it will slow down a thief. I use this on my boat trailer, running it thru the wheels, and locking the ends together. The black nylon outer is nice too, helps from scratching up my wheels.

Product is as described. Pricey but it is a very heavy duty chain. Seems priced accordingly. Fabric covering is a nice and appreciated feature. I use it to secure two motorcycles together by the frames and its nice to know the raw chain isn't dragging across paint.

Solid chain link bike chain. Weighs about 7 pounds. Nicely wrapped in a cloth sleeve to protect surfaces it comes in contact with.

I used to use a cable lock on my bike, which would occasionally get new scratches and cut marks on it from people attempting to cut through it. I can’t speak to the durability of this chain. Never tried to cut it. HOWEVER, I can speak to the IMPRESSION of durability, which counts for a lot as a deterrent. There isn’t a single scratch anywhere on it after over a year of use. Nobody has even attempted to get through, because the chain looks indestructible. The chain is just long enough that I can loop it through the frame and front wheel of my bike. The only downside is the bulk and weight of the chain compared to alternative options.

Bought to lock up bike in my storage locker. Haven't used it yet, but I like the weight and the look. I think it will do the job just fine.

I’ve had it now for about a week. Love that it’s covered in material, saves my bike getting scratched up. Most importantly is the good quality. I haven’t tried bolt cutters on it obviously… wish I could rate it again if someone were to try and break it. It should be good though! Better than what I could find at Home Depot!

USE THESE, NOT chains from a hardware store with bolt cutters. When buying items to protect something, you do not want to spend more on the protection than the item is worth, unless of course the loss of the item would be distressful. This chain, coupled with a security lock such as made by the same company (Abus) is a minimum I would suggest using.

No chain or bicycle lock is going to outlast a motivated thief forever, but this combined with the right lock should create a good holdup.
