I'm someone who seldom ever writes reviews - UNLESS the product is so good everyone should know about it, or so bad it caused me or my loved ones harm. This product falls into the first category :) I'll start by saying I've knowingly suffered from IBS since 2012. But the past two or three years has been what I can only describe as a losing fight. It doesn't matter what I eat, everything bothers me: GAS, BLOATING, CONSTIPATION, and STOMACH NOISES ALL NIGHT. It's either suffer or starve for me and I've spent so much time and money looking for a remedy. I started these pills two weeks ago, and after the very first pill the symptoms had diminished. I waited to the magic to stop, for the disappointment to set it, but it hasn't yet. A few days ago, I decided to put these pills to the ultimate test. I took one pill and thirty minutes later I ate a meal that contained ONIONS, GARLIC, BLACK BEANS, CORN, AVOCADO, JALAPENO, and SOUR CREAM (Mexican inspired dishes are my arch nemisis). I washed it down with white wine (another enemy of mine). For anyone who truly suffers from IBS, these ingredients are swear words. I expected to spend at least one night in misery. But shockingly, my stomach stayed quiet and content. I slept the whole night, no weird noises when we turned the TV off. Best of all, I didn't fart on my boyfriend in my sleep (this happens far too often). Shockingly, the next morning my life was still normal. I was SHOCKED. I've kept these up every day since then. I'm still in the clear so I think it's safe to say THESE THINGS WORK and everyone should know about them. Thank you soooooo much MAV Nutrition! You gave me a new lease on life!!!

I have multiple sclerosis. I also had gastric bypass in 2009. Between the both of them, my digestive tract stayed messed up on most days. I have been using probiotics and different brands of digestive enzymes for about 5 years with different reactions. I must tell you, these digestive enzymes have been like a miracle for me! Oh my goodness, if you have any stomach issues, this is what you should try! You can't go wrong. If you do not notice a difference in a month, they will give you back the money you paid for them. They work better then products costing so much more. We Americans do not eat right anymore. And then there is the stress of life in general. Jobs, spouse, and kids. How do we find time to take care of ourselves? I can answer that. We don't. Work needing that project wrapped up, A child who kept you up and down all night, and a "someone" special who tugs at you just like the kids. You can not lose by trying these. Just remember one thing. The first week, it may feel like you are getting worse, not better. That means it is working. As the bad bacteria dies in the battle of the enzymes and the world, they make a toxin. And some people would stop taking them. Do not stop. As your body expels these bad bacteria you will start feeling better like I have my large intestine connected to my little pouch of a stomach. Many times over the years, the bloating and the pain of gas built up had me curled into a ball in bed. I need to order a new bottle. I have energy for the first time in 7 years. That helps me cope better with everyday strife. No more indigestion where my stomach managed to eat a hole in my esophagus some years ago. I do not need "gas x" any more. Trust me on this one. it is a keeper. Wonderful product that really works! I thank this company for the answer to some of my prayers.

I was diagnosed with IBS-C about 5 years ago and have been struggling with the symptoms of chronic stomach pain and cramping, bloating, gas, and constipation ever since. I had been taking a CVS brand probiotic for about two years and found that it kept most of my symptoms at bay, but that once I started to have an “attack,” the probiotic was rendered useless. In January and February, I was suffering from a bout of gastritis, when I discovered this digestive enzyme on Amazon. I decided to try this enzyme in lieu of reordering my CVS probiotic supplement because it contains its own probiotics and because I thought the enzyme might help me break down meals more easily, thereby curbing the gastritis attacks. Although it has only been about three weeks since I started taking this digestive enzyme, I attribute it to the significant decrease in my IBS-C symptoms and the eradication (if temporary) of my bout of gastritis. I won’t say that it has completely alleviated all of my symptoms, but now when I have stomach pain or bloating, it is clearly due to a change in my behavior, like waiting too long to eat a meal and allowing too much acid to build up, or eating foods that tend to bloat me such as certain cruciferous vegetables. I’m optimistic that continued use of this digestive enzyme will allow me to live more comfortably with what is considered to be an incurable condition. For reference, I am in my mid-20s, eat a primarily plant-based diet, limit fried/fast foods, have lactose intolerance, and I try to exercise 2-3 times per week. I think taking care of your gut health and psychological health can help with the symptoms of IBS, but for me, the enzyme gives me the boost I desperately needed to fend off attacks. I take one digestive enzyme pill every morning with water 20-30 minutes before a meal. I tried taking a second enzyme in the evening, as directed, for a week, but I think it actually caused bloating and constipation for whatever reason, so I have since stopped that. So if you’re experiencing chronic and moderate to severe pain due to IBS or gastritis and you’re looking for relief, just try this digestive enzyme. I certainly don’t regret it!

I have bought the 280 mg Digestive Enzymes by MAV Nutrition because I trusted they would help with digestion. Even though it has good ingredients and I've finished all the pills, for me, it didn't provide any benefit. I eat a healthy diet, gluten and lactose-free. Taking into consideration the good ingredients contained, I gave this product 4 stars.
