Sealed by Fire: The Nature Hunters Academy Series, Book 2 Paperback – April 28, 2020

I am a willing participant of ARC for this book.I love how Quinn can take any subject and write an amazing book full of intrigue, suspense, loyalty, betrayal and romance. She is clever in her writing to add details that can be pertinent to today’s society and the goings on.Sealed by Fire is another perfect example of her great writing and her attention to detail story telling. She has taken a new world in the first book, Bound by Earth, and opened our eyes to the story of Tara and Shelly. With this second book, Sealed by Fire, we continue our journey as Shelly is in the lower world of hell and Tara is in the upper world learning her new surroundings and abilities.Quinn has done an magnificent job explaining the details of Ra’s perilous fight to get Shelly from the grasps of hell’s demons. Meanwhile, a select few elementalists from the four academies, have to learn to fight together the destruction of darkness. Trusting new people is a difficult process. Such struggling process is delivered magnificently. New characters come in this book are simply awesome!! The Royal Elementalists and Professors are funny as they are focused on doing their academy proud. Gabby is a red headed feisty girl that is able to put Liam in his place. The demons of hell each have different descriptions and personalities that keep the story demanding for your attention. All characters are well done. Time will cease to exist when you start to read the book. Your normal responsible life will have to be put on hold. I was sad that the story had to come to an end.So, in the end... great book to purchase. It wont be a waste of time or money. Can’t wait for the next book!! More adventure awaits!!

If you haven’t read Bound by Earth, you may want to. You will enjoy Sealed by Fire without reading, but you will enjoy it 100% more if you read Book 1, first. Quinn Loftis as an author is amazing. All her stories take you on a fabulous roller coaster ride and Sealed by Fire is a high/low/crazy ride! While it is technically a young adult paranormal fiction roman book. Every age over 8 will enjoy Sealed by Fire tremendously. Continuing where Bound by Earth ended, we are once again learning about the complex and chaotic world of elementals. Ra, the Egyptian Fire Elemental and direct descendant of Pharaoh has pledged his life to enter the hell fires and bring back the BFFF of Tara, his best friend’s true mate. Except wait…they don’t really understand the whole true mate thing. So, Ra can’t explain his deep need to literally walk through fire to get Shelly, the BFFF. She is loyal, loving and trapped in one of those seven levels of hell. Each level introduces the reader to new entities. Each encounter reveals yet something else about Ra. Each level brings him closer to Shelly who is confronting her own challenges. Meanwhile back at the elemental academies – Earth, Wind, Fire and Water are facing mega challenges. Bottom line, if the protective elementals don’t figure out what is going on, life as humans and other supernatural beings will be over. Elias, Ra’s best friend and earth elemental has discovered is soul mate in Tara. She is a brilliant teenaged orphan with powers all of her own (that’s why you want to read Bound by Earth, first).The second book in the Nature Hunters Series is as wonderful read as all of Quinn Loftis’ other books. She is a singularly gifted writer with an amazing imagination. Once you enter one of her worlds you want to revisit over and over again so you will. This is the second book in The Nature Hunters Academy Series. Tara and Elias are at Terra Academy but the dark elementalist still want Tara. The dark side has a bargaining chip, Shelly. When Tara does not give herself up Shelly is put under a spell and shoved through a portal to hell. Ra promises to bring Shelly back from hell or he will stay in hell with her. Meanwhile Tara and Elias try to find more out about being bonded. Shelly feels like she is being burned alive but she cannot talk or move. Ra goes through many trials to get to Shelly in level one of hell. Will he be able to reach her in time when he feels her time is running out? I love this book, the characters are amazing and the story is original. This is a must read.
