This was my first time ever using a pressure cooker. I especially love the way the lid attaches to this model. So easy to use. I cooked my first time in my new Ninja Pressure Cooker today. a one pound bag of pinto beans that Tasted like I had cooked them all day on the stove. They are so tender and has the same brown bean gravy thickness like they were cooked for several hours. I love it!!!

This is the book all new insta pot users should get if you have the smart lid. Many more useful recipes and step by step instructions.

Wish it had more pictures in how to load the machine. It’s a learning curve for a newbie. Fixed one recipe and it did turn out, so over all it’s a good cook book.

Book have great instructions but the recipes are not useful. Could have had more of an assortment of normal cooking recipes for each mode of cooking.

I was really excited to get this book but was very disappointed when it arrived. The first half of the book is basically the manual from the ninja food smart lid pressure cooker that you already receive. The book has pictures but they could have included many many more. There is only 75 recipes in the book but you are left with only a handful or two that you actually want to make. I think like others said, they could have provided more realistic recipes for a machine that claims to replace 14 appliances. I’ve found many recipe videos from those that have this exact unit on YouTube. “Cooking with Doug” and “John Sanders” have great recipes as well as Pinterest. Hope this helps
