Enameled Cast Iron Signature Square Skillet Grill, 10.25", Cerise

Love it. Great grilled items in the house. Of course it’s not like an outside grill but we live in a condo so have no choice. Cleaning LeCrucet can be a pain if you don’t do it correctly. After you cook your food, let the pan cool while you eat. Afterwards put about 1/2 inch of water and soak for 30-45 minutes while you clean everything else up. Then use the proper sponge or brush to remove any debris. I use the special nylon brush from LeCrucet or a scrub daddy. Remember it is black enamel so you don’t want to scratch it. If debris sticks, add clean water, about 1/2 inches and some baking soda. Heat the pan on low until it’s warm and use the brush again. Don’t use anything abrasive or you will scratch the surface. After it’s clean, I dry it on the burner for a few minutes with it on low. After, I spray a little canola oil and wipe the excess out. Technically you are not supposed to have to use a little oil but I find it helps. You can’t use a medium or high heat or things will burn and stick. Use low heat and only add your food once a sprinkle of water sizzles when flicked into the pan. It doesn’t come with a lid, I bought a Lodge Square lid to use. It’s not a tight fit but it works.

The pan gets really hot and holds the heat. It is great for quickly searing Tuna. I have not yet used it to cook other foods. At full retail price the pan is too expensive. After all, it’s only enameled cast iron, not gold. I would not purchase it at full retail. I was lucky to get this pan for half price because it was returned to Amazon by the original buyer. I has a few small cosmetic scratches but doesn’t appear to have been previously used to cook anything.

Just love this pan for drying up a quick steak or chop, so much more convenient than having to fire up the grill for one person!

I bought it for the color but also to replace another pan I’ve been using for years which I wanted to give my daughter. The pan is very well made, my only complaint it it’s hard to clean with the ridges. Maybe I’m using it incorrectly.

Rub steak fat, cook, four minutes each side, steaks came out great, primary cooking, it's hefty, not your flipping kind, very tough, the slots are not easy to clean, I only cook one NY cut steaks, over 3/4 lbs, after flip, some cut mushrooms on the sides, soy or sauce, stirs the mushrooms near the end, done. You can do two NY steaks, one good size porterhouse, not cheap, but bought it on sale, I think. I use cheap take out chopsticks to clear the slots, so far so good.

Took a chance on the used like new option on this. Description said original package has obvious damage. 🧐 it was $100 cheaper than the new one so I purchased it. Flawless the skillet is! Love it already and cooking with it was pure joy.

We love using this pan and it makes some pretty grill marks on steaks or pork chops!

We've owned a few Le Creuset products over the years and they never disappoint. You get what you pay for it. It is pricey, no doubt, but I feel that the quality of the product justifies the cost.

Ich hätte nicht so lange zögern sollen! Kein Vergleich zu beschichteten Grillpfannen! Durch das Gusseisen verteilt sich die Hitze gleichmäßig in alle Ecken und das Fleisch oder die Burger etc werden rundherum knusprig scharf angebraten. Ich brauche viel weniger Power auf dem Induktionsherd als mit meiner alten Aluguss Pfanne. Das Ofenrot ist genau meine Farbe und die Verarbeitung ist top! Bei Le creuset verlässt kein Teil das Haus, wenn es vorher nicht auf Fehler geprüft wurde! Bin sehr zufrieden und habe mir gleich noch zwei Profitöpfe gegönnt.

Grelha excelente. É só seguir as instruções de uso que funciona perfeitamente. Não gruda alimentos e é fácil de limpar. O frango grelhado fica lindo e suculento, nada seco. Quanto à entrega, meu produto não chegou no prazo normal, tampouco no prazo estendido. No entanto, quando abriu a possibilidade de solicitar o cancelamento ou substituição, pedi a substituição e, só então, chegou.
