I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Used these on a 1.5 hp RC 210 E lathe by Intsupermai. I had bought some axles at the junkyard for cheap steel material. My project was to make a quick change tool post mounting post, and this cutter was able to handle that job! Had to take down from 26mm to 18mm and this tool can remove material quickly. Since it is round, it can cut on feed going out as well as feed going in. It brought down rusty splined areas and caused no wear to the insert. Still going strong. Nice finish and radius on corners.

Seems fine, but I searched for 5/8 cutters, and this was in the results. I should have been more diligent and read further. The holder is 5/8", the actual cutter is much smaller. I will keep it, but wanted others to be aware of the incorrect search result.

I received the first tool and the bottom face was not flat. It was warped so would not sit flat in holding tool on lathe. Returned it and received another unit that was flat on the bottom and mount well. Also the first unit didn’t have an insert mounted on the tool. The second one did. Quality assurance isn’t great. Have not tried turning with the tool yet. Three stars because average if that. A lot of money for a Chinese tool compared to other options.

Worked as it should

Used it to cut on multiple types of material and it works great. Runs good for lathe. Cuts are sharp and smooth.

This tool is amazing on aluminum, takes a lot off in a pass and leaves a nice finish. It can leave a nice internal radius too. It also works well on mild steel.

Amazon Fail. It shipped the item in the plastic envelope. The item is heavy and sharp. So i got empty plastic envelope with the hole in it. I sorted it out with customer service however amazon should reconsider its package chaise for the item.

This is a good cutter for the price, will buy again!

Nice addition to my lathe tool collection. The 6mm diameter(3mm radius) is just right for a good portion of the shaft turning that I do. Tried it out on aluminum, stainless and carbon steel and the results are pleasing.

Decent little tool. I’ve used it a grand total of once so far and only on aluminum,but I like it.
