This was a great introduction to sewing for my 8-year-old granddaughter, and a wonderful experience for both of us to share. She was so proud of her work, which she finished in time to hang on her new backpack for the start of school---August 1 in Georgia! I liked the blunt-tip needles, easy and attractive patterns, and beautiful colors.Two glitches in the instructions: Step 1: 'Wear the thread [No, 'Use the thread'] according to the method in the picture.' and Step 2: To show how to do the cross stitch, the drawing does not correspond to the cloth. Better to go 'all the way right, then all the way left' instead of making individual Xs. Although this is a very good first project, it is necessary to be guided by someone who knows how to embroider.

I am very pleased with this cross stitch kit that I purchased for the young granddaughter. She was able to catch on pretty quickly. The way the colors are stamped onto the fabric helped alot. I was really afraid it would be too hard for her but she caught onto it pretty quickly. My only wish is that the needles would be a little more friendly to thread. The eye is so small. I think they could have been made a little more kid friendly.

This is a great beginner kit but some of the images are printed way too close to the color chart. When you hoop the image you can see the chart.

My 7 your old daughter saved up for this and bought it for herself. It has been so fun to watch her skill and prove in the results are so adorable!

Has needles that aren’t sharp at the end. Small designs that are stamped onto the fabric and are easy to cross stitch. The thread you need is provided and each design has written on the fabric the colors you need. Highly recommend. Good for giving as a gift.
