My daughter quite enjoyed this advent calendar, and though I'm glad we purchased it, there are some improvements that could be made.Pros:The Disney princess characters are adorable and there are a lot of different ones, so you'll likely find your favorite in the group.The beads match the characters, both in color and for some with shapes.Cons:There are not enough necklaces. The first day we put the charm on the necklace, then added beads. But then there many more charms than necklaces, and if you put them all on one it was just too heavy and big. There there also a few bracelets and rings, which were fun, but I really wish there had been a necklace with each charm meant to go on a necklace.

My 2 year old and 7 year old shared this for an advent calendar for Christmas this year. Some days you just have a little bag of beads or charm with no cord to make a bracelet or necklace. This is frustrating for younger kids, and they lose interest quickly. Unlike with other calendars where my kids wake up every morning rushing to open the calendar, I found myself asking them if they were ready to open another door. The product is as described, but I would not recommend it as an advent calendar- maybe a toy to open all the windows on the same day, but not over 24 days. And $24 is way to much when I can pay $13 for 5 pack of necklaces with good sized charms.

We use this as an advent calendar and to teach the importance of waiting for Jesus’ birth. So my daughter is learning that lesson while she patiently waits for Rapunzel; who doesn’t come until day 17. Mixing and matching the beads is fun every day. I wish there were more necklace/bracelet pieces, but it works mixing and matching.

My 3 year old loved seeing what princess she would get each day. My only complaint would be that you only get a few necklace rubber strings to make the necklaces. We would have to take apart the precious necklace we made to use on the next set of beads and charm. It just took extra time to rebuild a previous necklace or bracelet we already made when she wanted to wear a different princess charm. It just needs more rubber necklace strings for the different charms! Help make this toddler mama’s life easier! I ended up using string I had at home but it’s not as easy to take on and off as the rubber necklace strings.

My 4 year old daughter has opened 20 boxes at the time of this review. This is a great gift for a small kid who loves princesses! Some of the boxes have had doubles, and some came with an item in the box different than what was pictured on the flap, but there have been no complaints from my little girl! The only thing I wish was different is that a bracelett/necklace string came with all beads. Otherwise its a perfect advent gift!
