Negatives outweigh the positives
Firstly the item arrived very quickly - less than a week despite Amazon's pessimistic prediction of a fortnight. However unless you manually check the DHL tracking number you won't know this as Amazon doesn't update the order to show the actual delivery date, so do check daily to see when it's landed in the UK. It also looks sturdy and the saddle is nice and wide with 'bump stops' under it so I expect it'd be comfortable on paved surfaces. Finally the box it arrives in isn't much bigger than one for a standard bicycle - however when fully assembled it's quite wide at the rear and I could barely get it through the door of the shed. That's not a criticism of the trike but something to keep in mind.Unfortunately things go downhill from here: the relatively small box means everything is wedged and tied together. Sure there's lots of foam, polythene and card to protect the bulk of it, but there's going to be some minor scratches due to movement in transit. To be fair it's probably no worse than any other flat-pack bike I've bought, but there are a lot more components to pick up damage. If you're building it outside like I did (recommended) or have to get it through a doorway then expect to acquire a few more before you're done.On to the build, the 'assembly manual' is almost totally useless because the pics are too small and it doesn't really show any steps - if you've never assembled a bike before then you really need to pay someone to do it, because there's a lot to do here: you'll be feeding the chain through the derailleur and joining the ends yourself, threading all the brake and gear cables through their outers and guides then attaching and adjusting each of them, followed by adjusting shift limits and the brake band. Oh yes, no tools are provided either so you'd better hope you've got a fairly comprehensive set of spanners and hex keys, chain tool, etc. I've got one or two bolts, a tiny bracket and lots of thin metal strips left over - no idea where they need to go as the manual doesn't shows any of them, or much else really!cOk, fast forward a few hours and I've now got a fully assembled trike with everything tightened up and adjusted at last. Some thoughts on the build quality: stood still it feels sturdy and the back end is very heavy. The front seems to be made up of an almost standard bicycle frame and I suspect you could probably fit a standard single wheel to the back instead of the trike gubbins if you really wanted to. The front basket is little more than chicken wire and won't take much weight at all. Your sandwiches will be fine there but nothing more substantial. Unfortunately for it to bolt to the head bracket the handlebars need to be raised pretty much to their maximum height which makes them quite tall. The rear basket is a little better however it all just slots together loosely so it rattles constantly and the sides don't feel especially secure - you can just lift them off the mesh base unless you bend the pegs to stop this, but it doesn't make it any stiffer. Again, the saddle needs to be lifted fairly high to clear the front edge of the basket. A motorcycle top box would be a better option here, or if you're dishonest, a proper wire shopping basket from your supermarket. Thankfully the basket bolts to some solid steel tubing below so there's a good base for whatever you decide upon. Also the mudguards are steel and quite sturdy both front and back, though the rear ones seem a bit heath robinson how they bolt to the rear assembly. On to performance! The trike rolls reasonably well and despite it's considerable weight is quite easy to get moving in the lower gears, and on a flat road can go quite well. However the braking performance is abysmal (maybe it will improve once ran in?) - the front brake is the old style side-pull with a single centre bolt holding the calipers to the fork so there's quite a bit of fore/aft movement on them when the brakes are applied. The rear brake is a band brake which wraps around a steel drum; again it might need bedding in but can be a little tricky to adjust the two set-screws to keep the band close to the drum without dragging on it. A disc brake would have been much better here. But by far the biggest problem with the rear brake is that, like the pedals, it only acts on the rear right wheel! The rear left wheel spins freely whether you're pedalling or braking. This is because unlike more expensive trikes, there's no rear differential, so whilst both half-shafts are driven, only one wheel is. Really the manufacturer should have fitted a brake caliper to each rear wheel - if they'd come up with a better way of attaching the mudguard 'hoops' to the rear then they'd easily be strong enough for this duty - and should have gone for something like a centre-pull braking setup at the front. On the road test I noticed quite a bit of flexing side-to-side on the front frame when pedalling. I don't think this is the metalwork bending, but because the front frame is basically a standard bike one, the rear seat and chain stays are quite close together where they join to the rear assembly. If they could spread these further apart so they bolt to the rear end closer to the wheels I expect that would solve this. Finally whilst riding the back end felt alarmingly unstable; as though one of the tyres was flat or the wheels were horribly out of true. It didn't help having my considerable weight perched high up on the saddle, but it didn't inspire confidence at higher speeds, and trying to slow down even on the flat took longer than I'd like.Would I recommend this trike? Sadly not. It's cheap - no more than a semi-decent mountain bike from Halfords, but the design is compromised in too many areas to make it a pleasant experience building or riding. It might be sufficient for a lightweight rider who only expects to be going at a jogging pace along reasonably flat roads, but I suspect most others will find it inadequate.

THe Tricical.
I purchased an adult Tricycle from Panel tech EU. Via Amazon. All went well the price was good all the information provided seemed good. The price was good and I did not think it was overpriced. When I received it the packaging was damaged. This may account for the slight damaged to two of the mudguards and chain guard. There was only one Allen key and no other tools at all. The instruction manual in the box was for a different module to the one i purchased and was of little or no use at all.The tricycle frame is quite robust but the chain guard and mudguards are made of very flumes mettle. The rear basket is of poor design and assemble fixings were of little use. The brackets securing the basket to the frame are very good. I could not fix the front basket to the bike at all. There is very little else one can say except the communication with the supply was very good.

great if you can get it sorted
arrived early so I was thrilled. had my son and son in law to put it together as we knew there was a lot to do (which was fine ) there was a lot of scratches and things bent looked like it had been dropped from a height . there was also bits missing that they had to get from else where . I was so excited to get this trike so wanted so much for it to work so that is what they did . that is the reason it was nt sent back . I now enjoy my rides out as I couldn't of done any other way . I should say I could of taken it to a bike shop for £50 .00 but didn't want to wait and was told if there was any bits missing they would then refuse to do it as this happens a lot the basket at the back is white and everything else black

Very nice tricycle once put together
Arrived well before the due date, which I was pleased about as it was my birthday present.Came flat packed and all wrapped up, had one little dent in one place and a little paint missing in another. If you didn't know you wouldn't notice though!!It was a good job my other half is a wiz at putting things together, as the instructions or lack of them should I say were absolutely appalling. But it still took quite a few hours to put together. That really is the only negative thing I can say. Please re-write your instructions.Overall I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend you to buy, but have someone put it together who knows what they are doing.

Difficult Build, Suspect Quality
Seat bracket poor, cross threaded almost immediately on tightening. Seat was not leather. Front brake very basic side pull. Mud guards ill fitting to brackets, both buckled fitting them. No tools, manual awful, no use. You have to guess how to build it. Priced a bit over what I would pay looking at the quality now it is built. However carriage was free, so I would say if you are used to Chinese manufacturing quality go for it, but if you can afford £500, buy a genuine product.

Great tryke
Excelent value for money, deli ered quicker than expected, always a quick response to any inquiry. Could do with some proper fitting instructions information given is very basic and picture few, blueed and exreamly small writing., could do with a link to a website to watch step by step construction. I relied on you tube and different trikes.Very happy with trike, easy to ride, great large storage basket on back for shopping and smaller one on front. Would definately recomend this Tryke to anyone.

Unless you know bikes, dont buy.
Frame scratched in a lot of places. What nut and bolts that are supplied, dont fit, and a lot missing. You pay all that money out for missing bits?Instructions are pathetic. It took my biker enthusiast friend over 6 hours to assemble, and he builds bikes on a regular basis.
