Very Relaxing!!!
I wanted everyone to know what a wonderful experience I have had owning this lamp! I bought it for my first university dormitory as a desk decoration and night light, and it filled both roles beautifully! The slow change of colors is soothing and visually appealing. I find myself watching the graceful movement of the jellyfish quite frequently. It is good for stress relief during exams or times of heavy homework. It casts a decent amount of light that allows me to see around the room, but does not keep me awake. I was concerned at first about completing the seemingly-complicated set-up-process, but all I had to do was soak the jellyfish in a cup of dish detergent overnight, wipe them down with a napkin without rinsing, and then fill the tank with distilled water to an acceptable level before submerging them. I have never had to clean it, and I have owned the lamp for over a year now. The water and tank remain as clear and clean as the day I set up the tank. There is no maintenance. The light has endured my over-usage of it with exemplary results. I keep it on almost constantly, and yet it continues to work well. There have been no hiccups or signs of quitting. The only flaw I have found is that sometimes the jellyfish will still along the bottom, but they usually manage to unstick themselves. It happened more frequently the first few weeks I owned it, and now very rarely ever happens. All I do to unstick it (and there is no need to unstick it yourself unless you're wanting to show your friend the jellyfish swimming, because when the lamp turns off automatically after about four hours, the jellyfish always go floating back up to the top of the tank to resume their dance upon reactivation) is gently shake the tank or simply turn it off, allowing the jellyfish to be released and float back to the top, and then turn it back on. It is very user-friendly, with only two big buttons, one to alter the color cycle and one to turn it on and off. Perfect for a child or a grandparent to operate. I have gotten so many compliments on it during my ownership. It's usually one of the first things people say when they walk in to my dorm (and my dorm has many other novelties one would think would evoke a stronger reaction). When a group of resident advisors conducted room inspections, they were concerned the jellyfish were real! I have had five visitors genuinely believe these were real jellyfish (and I do not often have visitors, so I am sure more tricks could be played by a more social owner). My cousin's daughter, about eight years old, thinks it's so cool! She wants one. It is fairly easy to transport without spilling, so long as it is not dramatically tipped. It's not an airtight seal, and it's not supposed to be; water will come out if you tip it or drop it. The lid is not fastened snugly on or anything, but it is difficult to knock the lamp over when it is on a flat surface because of the weight of the water holding it down. I am exceptionally clumsy, however, and yet have never spilled more than an ounce (this happened because I accidentally tilted the box when loading up the car to go back home). I have never had to change the water in the tank or add more water to the tank. To prevent it from spilling during transport, I simply put it back in its box and hold it during the car ride when I move my possessions in or out of my dorm for summer. It is a perfect, worry-free, zero-maintenance, beautiful, fun pet for all ages! It is vastly superior to owning a real fish tank and having to pay for its upkeep with both money and time. It is just as lovely and just as fulfilling. I wholeheartedly recommend this product and will buy one again in the future!

Amazing customer service! Excellent Night Lamp!
This product serves as an excellent night lamp with music and light. It is very pleasant to the eyes to see jelly fishes moving. I can watch it all day! When I got the product, I filled it with tap water fully and started using it without charging it 100%. With this, it wasn’t working as expected. So, I checked with Elsa and she told me about different tips I could use to make it work better. These are 1. Fill it 1/5th, leave it aside for 2 hrs and then fill the rest 2. Use distilled water and pour few drops of detergent. 3. Use it only after it is fully charged. These were mentioned in the manual but I was very excited and did not follow through the steps in the beginning and got myself into problems. Even after doing all these, it somehow did not work for me, may be because I messed up with it in the beginning multiple times (like pressing remote control buttons, lamp buttons multiple times etc). When I contacted Elsa again, she offered a replacement in the color of my choice for free and I gave my shipping address. I got it delivered in less than a week (white one this time). With this, I made sure from the beginning, without haste that I followed all the instructions and then tested it. This time it worked exactly as expected. I did not wanted to let go of another one. So, I just tried the first one for one last time following all the steps to see if it works. And yes!!! It also worked perfectly!! Now I have 2 lamps, one white and one black 😋 I am really impressed with how responsive Elsa was whenever I was facing an issue with the product. Super happy with the customer service! Do check out the video where I tried multiple modes.

Amazing Lamp
I use this in me and my son's room as a lamp at night. It is super cool and looks pretty realistic. You can connect it to bluetooth to play music. Although we don't use the bluetooth because we just love to set it on red and go to sleep. It has numerous colors you can choose from, all of which look awesome. It also has some built in tunes and sounds and you can have it jump between colors. It comes with a remote which is easy to use to control it. Love this product SO WORTH THE MONEY for a cool nightlight option. Just make sure you swish the water around when you first get it (part of the setup instructions). This is important to make sure the jellyfish move around a lot.

Super cute but not very good
Update: August 2024 Ok, I originally gave this a 2 star review (see below if interested) but I’m changing it to 1. This unit does nothing but light up and play music after about 1-2 months of using it. The blower that moves the jelly fish completely stopped working. The tank filled up with green algae due to it having no water movement (see pictures). I hate that this was a Christmas gift for my girls and they didn’t even get a good experience out of it. I wish I had returned it immediately but unfortunately I didn’t. -———————————————————- Original 2 star review (Jan 2024) We got this for my daughter for Christmas since she's been asking for one for about 4 months now. We set it up and got it turned on. The remote immediately got stuck on 1 sound (the button is pushed down and won't come back up) so we can't change the music with the remote, we had to remove the batteries and just use the buttons on the tank. We followed the directions to remove all the bubbles from the jelly fish but the water movement just doesn't seem strong enough to actually move the jelly fish around. They kind of bob at the top of the water and the tentacles slightly sway, they do not move around the tank however. The colors of the lights are very pretty and the piano music is very soothing. I'm just disappointed that it doesn't actually move the jelly fish around. I could care less about the remote, but that's also a little crummy that it doesn't work straight out of the box.

...And it has a speaker. It just doesn't translate Jellyfish to any other language.
I really enjoy this, read all the praise from the others and feel great about this purchase. I wouldn't risk the lower priced ones and don't see the gains in the higher priced ones...this seems to be the fake jellyfish tank to get IMO. Suggestions: 1) Add some water to it before doing anything and just turn the pump on. There was some random debris floating about from the manufacturing process I assume. Water in, turn on pump, run it a bit, dump it out, then follow most suggestions from there on. It settles eventually if you don't, but you'll still see random cruft now and then when I think we all want pure looking water. 2) Dudes, just a little dish soap as stated. "If a little works, why not a bit more" doesn't work here. I gave mine a good sploosh of dish soap into distilled water and that introduces foam at the fill port and some lingering around the top. The little jelly caught the most and just made me jab them more with the stick before doing it, well...correctly. A little dish soap, couple jabs, then come back in an hour and harass them one more time with the stick. 3) At the bottom right is a grid which is the intake while the hole right by it is the outlet that moves the water. You'll see air in the grid part which you can kind of palm-hit the unit around to get some out prior to putting the jellies in so that they don't grab it. As with the above, it'll all work out over time so just be patient. 4) If you still have a jelly staying at the top, it has air. Drown these suckers! Use that stick and just work them around upside down. That one tiny, itty bitty bubble matters. If it stays at the bottom it likes it there. Leave it alone, you have an antisocial jellyfish that is just way cooler than the other two. When you're not watching it, it's doing gymnastics. You can run it 24/7 right out of the box if you power it. You don't need to charge the thing, it runs off USB power just fine. If you want to pull the plug and take the jellies for a walk or put it in the microwave, that's an option but whatever floats your boat, Science is fun too. I simply can't vouch for battery runtime with whatever you do with it without the plug in. I see amazon is suggesting things now so: size is relative so it has matter and occupies space along with other material, value for currency spent is value based on income and free expenditures for stuff like this, the ease of use is how easy it is to look at things and take your anger out with a stick to jab rubber things, and the durability is to not hit it with a Peterbilt truck and expect fake fish to live. I'm now Awesome.

Nice Bluetooth Speaker!!!
Lovely lamp wish mine came with all the colors working, only green, red, and yellow are the only colors that work in my unit. Other than that the Bluetooth speaker connected perfectly and the sound is decent for such a small device, very surprising. It did not take long for my replacement and it’s absolutely beautiful now with all the lights working properly. I can’t stress enough how good the speaker is for such a small novelty device, I was only planning to use the speaker occasionally but now I use it to play music every evening to relax. So had to come back and edit my rating to 5 stars. I do wish the lamp came with a timer feature or even an app so you program a schedule, I would pay a little more for something with that feature.

Low powered pump
I was in love with this product. I would sit and watch the jellyfish to calm my anxiety. However, the pump stopped pumping enough to move the jellyfish around. I emptied everything out, washed the jellyfish and the tank and started over from scratch hoping I could have some dancing jellyfish again. It worked for about two minutes then the jellyfish just floated at the top of the tank. I had hoped I found the perfect tank for me, unfortunately, I was wrong. If you’re looking for a tank to last you for a few months, this is yours, if any longer than that, I’d keep looking. I have not looked into contacting the manufacturer at this point, which maybe I should do. I do like this product enough, I am considering purchasing another one just because I know how it works. Another problem I have with it is the remote control is a little wishy-washy. I really wish there was a way to control the power of the pump and how hard it blew the jellyfish around. Now to be honest, I did let this guy run 24 seven. I’m not sure that is how it’s supposed to be done. I wish I could find one that wouldn’t burn out after being run 24 seven. Overall, it’s a good product. I just gave it three stars cause mine quit working possibly because I ran it 24 seven since I got it. Trying to decide if to downgrade the two stars because now it won’t even turn on bummer. I don’t think I’ll buy another one. Ok? It turned back on, but you see the extent of jellyfish movement. Maybe I will buy another one or see if I can get a replacement… I’ll keep you posted

Jellyfish Rave!!
Oh man I absolutely LOVE this thing WAY more than I thought I would. I got it to put in our guest bedroom to have a noise machine with a small speaker that friends could sync their phone to and use when they stay with us. Well my wife and I loved it so much that we decided to keep it in our kitchen (and my wife has moved it to the living room when we are in there, and now it is in our bedroom.) It is so dang entertaining to watch these jellyfish move around. We always have friends ask if they are real jellyfish and we tell them yes haha. We have named them SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward. The lighting looks amazing - we typically keep it on the mode that phases slowly from one color to the next, but also use the mode that blinks the colors with the music when I have my phone synced to play music. The speaker is decent quality, but nothing incredible. It also has peaceful piano music, bubbles, and ocean sounds. We mostly keep the sound off, but it is there if you want it. We left it plugged in, but realized there is also a battery so you can unplug and move it around and use it without having it plugged in! My wife loves taking our jellyfish into the room with us when we watch a movie and it's dark because the lighting looks SO cool! We absolutely love our new pets and think everyone should buy some jellyfish of their own!! You won't regret it!
