Yes I know I could use apps, or whatever, and I have, but this sleep machine is so much better. There are no ads, or weird glitches and it never needs to buffer. It's a long lasting set of sounds that I haven't noticed loop. My preference is thunderstorm 2, though I have tried others as well. It's easy to use, has a timer on it when needed and provides me with a long lasting ambiance that helps me rest.

I have another sound machine, which I've had for years. Wanted to get another one that was a little more mobile. At first, I didnt like this. Once I gave it a chance, I found sounds that I liked. Its nice to have something to focus on when Im having anxiety issues or trouble sleeping. A couple sounds I dont care for, but I like that it has sounds my other machine doesnt have. Good value and worth a chance.

Easy to use....can't say enough. When having a restless sleep, it is easy to turn on this machine and go back to sleep. For me, the settings of 15 min / 30 min / 60 min are ideal.

This noise devise is exactly as described. Multiple noises are clear, soft in tone and relaxing. highly recommend for a good night’s sleep or just to recharge.

I like the features, especially the corded or battery operated options. The dial for volume control also lets you set precisely how loud/soft you like it. The timer and selection of noise types was very nice. However, after just under 90 days my unit began to shut off by itself after about 30 minutes or so WITHOUT the timer being set for ANY time limit. I know that one of the features is when the device is turned on again after having been turned off it will go back to the prior user settings. I never used the timer, so when I turned it on and it began to shut down by itself I figured maybe I had accidentally hit the timer button. So I cycled through the timer options to where no timer was set, and the unit continued to turn itself off. Then I tried turning it off, taking out the batteries, waiting a few minutes, replacing the batteries, turning it on without setting the timer (no timer lights lit) and letting it run. Turned itself off by itself again. Tried several times - same result. Too late to return, so I'm stuck with a faulty (or maybe they all do this) unit. Really too bad since I liked the sound machine very much, but something that lasts less than 90 days is not acceptable. Time to shop for something else from a different manufacturer. I'd advise against taking a chance on this unit.

I like that It has usb on back I can hook my phone to it to charge at night without using another plug.
