Worked like a charm!
My front load washer wouldn’t lock. After trying resetting, unplugging, cleaning out lint, etc we decided to watch some YouTube videos on replacing this part. It was really easy and fixed our issue so seamlessly. Door now locks and acts as it should.

Samsung front load washer door latches again !!!!
Old latch failed and would not lock when washing clothes . Replaced with this latch and it fit and worked perfectly . Door now locks when washing as designed . Not sure how long it will last but I’m a few days in with no issues yet .

Worked well with one little hiccup
So, I installed this generic door lock switch assembly on my Samsung Washer. Everything works and fit, however, the screw that holds the assembly to the washer frame and came with the original part did not want to go into this new part all the way. I had to stop or I would have stripped the screw. So there was a little movement, but it hasn't affected anything. The door closes just fine and the washer operates as it should.

Great replacement
My washer wasn’t locking anymore. Thought it was broken and needed to buy a new one. My Dad said order this and I’ll fix it. I didn’t do the repair but it looked easy and smooth and was just what it need it. Washer back to normal.
