Yes, this product is the same as our original MOD Time Timer, just offered in different colors and without the silicone case.

Q: This timer is running slow. is that typical? how can i fix or should i replace?

If you have inserted fresh batteries and timed the Time Timer MOD against a stop watch and it is falling short of +/- 20 to 30 seconds, please contact us at AMZsupport@timetimer.com for additional support.

Q: how long is timer when it goes off? 6 sec? 20-40 sec, 60 sec?

You can choose the increment up to 60 minutes. The markings on the timer is in minutes. So, I don't think you'd be able to go down to 6 seconds.

Q: Unlike the product photo, there is a big gap on face of the timer to accommodate the dial. Is this a design change or is my unit counterfeit?
