For what it is and costs, it's a great looking badge. Brought a little color to my grill. I used the angle plate to mount it. Just prep the area with a little rubbing alcohol for best adhesion. I've been driving highway speeds in rain and it's holding on. We'll see for how long lol

I got this emblem for my last car, and it lasted about four years before it started to tarnish. I like this so much that I actually got another one for my new car! I think the quality of the adhesive was great because I never had to worry about the emblem falling off. I used an automatic brushed car wash in my last vehicle just about every single week, and the adhesive never faltered.

Good quality and long lasting, been using it for more than 2 years

This was a great addition to my 2022 VW Tiguan R Line. I had to cut the base a little with a Dremel in order for it to line up perfectly with the R Line emblem on the grill. I have had quite a few people tell me that they like how it looks and ask me where I got it from. It's a subtle and inexpensive touch to add to your ride.

Well made piece but I haven't installed it.....yet. The grill on the Mk8 GTI is smaller and the landing is not as deep. In order to install you would have to cut about 3/16 to 1/4 inch off the mounting tab th bring the emblem closer to the grill as shown in the picture. I haven't decided exactly where to put it - closer to the headlight or closer to the VW badge.

The “badge” itself is slightly larger than the metal it sticks to but it looks great! I chose to stick to the middle rack but it will stick anywhere and the metal is soft enough so you can bend it, which is what I did to give it a more flush look. It has held up to rain, hail and washing so far.
