Tyre, Byblos, and Sidon: The History of the Three Most Important Ancient Phoenician Cities in the Levant

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of research that went into this short book. It provides a great overview of three highly influential city states of the Phoenicians. One can appreciate the turbulent history of each city being at the crossroads of so many great civilizations. A brief note that there were a few formatting issues to be observed, but I chose to be slightly more generous in the rating in order to support a low volume, historical publication. A great book for anyone looking for a selective overview of key cities within this period of history in the levant.
