10 Pack 5/16 inch Plastic Check Valve, One Way Barb Hose Inline Non Return For Fuel, Oil, Water, Air

I needed these to fit a 1/4" inside diameter hose and it fits a 1/4" outside diameter hose. I may not have read the description correctly but returning them was a breeze as usual.

Works well but poor durability comparing to others. Had to replace it 3 times in a week.

The pictures and sizing lead you to believe that the valve opening size is 1/4"...it is NOT!! The outside of the widest part of the barb is 1/4", however, the OD of the tubing itself is only 3/16", and the ID of the tubing is even smaller than that. So disappointing, not to mention false advertising.

These leak! Tried them for my kegerator gas lines so beer would not back up the gas side. They were fine at first but in a day or so they began leaking, which emptied my 5 LB CO2 tank. Do not use for gas/air.

The check valve does no work on 1/4 inch water line. Water siphons back through the valve.

My ethanol free fuel ate through 2 of these before I stopped trying. They worked initially but after a short while they were wasted and let nothing through.

Good price for what you get, work well and allowed me to repair the back window squirter on our Escape which had cracked. Happy with purchase, lifetime supply.
