I was looking for a product that would give my natural hair a firm hold when I do the two strand twist. I saw this at TJMaxx and since it is a product that has clearly stood the test of time, I decided to try it. I also read the reviews. The reviews were kinda mixed with most really liking the product and some felt that it was too drying. It has been my experience that curl creams are moisturizing and this looked as if it would be too. It gave my hair the exact results that I was looking, but I also discovered that it is also drying to my hair as some reviewers mentioned. To remedy the drying aspect of it, I mixed it Camille Rose moisturizing curl cream and that improved the dryness quite a bit. I also tried the Dippity Do Mousse and the results are just as good without the dryness. I have the gel and will try that next. Either way, I love the Dippity Do product line. Overall, great product, great results and so reasonably priced... great combination.

I never thought I'd be using Dippity-Do products, just like my grandmother did. But this oil really helps my naturally curly and coarse hair stay soft. The two-pack is a great value. I found it in a discount store, but now it's only available to me on Amazon. I've received several comments from other people who touch my hair or also have curls. I recommend oil for curly hair, and this one specifically.

My hair has always been a little confused and varies in range of curl in areas. With this cream and water, it takes my hair from 2a to 2b and 3b without any icky residue or greasiness.

I have fine curly 3 c hair. I love Dippity Do Girls with curls Gelee and their curl enhancing smoothie! The curl enhancing smoothie works like magic in high humidity. But this leave in curl defining cream neither moisturized my hair nor gave it any hold. So I will not repurchase this for my healthy, non damaged hair.

It was alright. Smelt good, I just personally did not like the texture it gave my hair. Also made it quite sticky.

Love this curl cream. I have fine, thin hair, so i need something not too heavy. This works excellent, and has a great smell. Be aware if you CG it does have dimethicone as an ingredient. I don't mind this, but I know that others do.
