These were almost perfect for what I was doing. They are very sturdy, which was important because I was stretching my work to fit them. The only problem was that when I was crocheting around the hoop, it was leaving something black on my fingers and I could see it transferring onto my thread. I even tried cleaning them first but it didn't help.

The rings are sturdy but it's not smooth where the ends are joined together. That's an issue for me since I'm using a very fine crochet thread (30 weight) to attach my handmade doily and I'm concerned that if the thread rubs on the rough joining, that the thread could break. The 4" rings measure 3 7/8" in diameter at outer edges and 3 5/8" between inner edges, which means that my 4" doily is too big.

I just got these rings/hoops. What I like about them is that the join is smooth, unlike some other hoops. I wish they came in silver.

These rings 'break' either before I use them or in the middle of my project...the welding is poor workmanship. NO! I will not order these again!!!!!!!!!

These rings are great to make towel holders for every room that has a sink. Holds medium to larger dish towels and are easy to remove when you need the dish towel.

I bought these to give a finished edge on a Resin Casting project. The worked perfectly. I will probably buy them again
