Easy to cut and apply. Used aluminum duct tape to connect and a J-roller to conform to the floorboard. I am unable to speak to either noise or heat reduction as I am still working on the car.

used in my car under the hood to replace old fallen off original heat shield. So far holding up well. Did not work as good for interior of car, keeps coming unglued.

I used this to line a box that a diesel heater is in. The backing has a hard time coming off unless you pull it at the perfect angle. You will end up with pieces if backing stuck on the mat that us near impossible to remove, but it's not huge sections so I just carried on. I can't complain for the price. I have dynamax extreme and dynalinrr but seemed like a waste of expensive product for this job.
