We got this for our son, parts were breaking off the 1st day. But he still enjoys it.

A solid F-22 model
I've attached a bunch of pictures since I couldn't find that many online of this model and I figured I could be the one to add some documentation. In one of the attached photos there's some plastic landing gear that can be snapped into place on the underside of the model. I chose the plastic panels that came with the model instead. It also comes with a little tool that can remove the panels/landing gear if you so choose, but I wouldn't recommend doing it often since they seem fragile. The model comes with empty slots so you can choose whether to install the landing gear or cover panels yourself. The box has plenty of neat things about the model on it like diagrams and an interesting blurb about the F-22. The drop tanks don't appear to be detachable so you might want to be cautious when handling. My box was slightly dented upon arrival but there was no damage to the model itself. Some of the proportions around the model's nose aren't quite accurate to the real thing which bothers me a little. Specifically the shape of the canopy, nose, and air intakes aren't quite right which I tried to get a good photo of.There is a variant of this model that you can buy (at the time of review, at least) that has the missile-bay open with ordinance inside. I didn't purchase that variant of the model and there is no way to open the bay doors on the variant I bought. The stand seems sturdy enough to support the model's weight and it is easily detachable from the model.Apart from my gripes this is a solid F-22 model and I would recommend it to fellow military aircraft nerds.

Very good gift for 9-14 year olds!
There are good things and bad things about this. Here, I will start with the good things. The good about this is that it is small enough to fit under a tree with big gifts for Christmas, and it is very accurate. The bad news is that some of the parts are inaccurate, such as the nose, which dips down too far. But you won't notice it from a far. It is made of die-cast metal, which makes it durable, but that wont keep it from breaking. Once i got it, I saw that the canopy was wiggling a little bit, (the canopy is not tinted yellow) so i tried pulling it up. It broke off. Another thing that gave me some troubles is that the rudders on top fell off while playing with the plane. (DO NOT DO THIS.) We had to super-glue it back on. Lastly, when I tried putting the gear on, the wheel snapped off! But don't let that trick you into not getting this amazing product. Even though it breaks, it is still very worthy of a great toy for many! Buy one while you can! Im definitely gonna get another one soon!P.S. I would recommend getting 2 at a time, so you can have 1 flying and the other one on land.

Not worth $47
This model is not worth its asking price. So far one of the rear tail stabilizers fell off. A bomb bay door fell off, a fuel tank and one of the landing gears fell off!! I’ve bought better model jets at rite aid
