Always wanted one.
I like everything about this, the feel is comfortable to hold, the sound is pleasing, the only thing that I didn't care for was the stand. It seems sketchy at best. I won't leave it on the stand but really don't need it to.

Better sound than others we tried
My son was able to pick this up and play almost immediately. Yes, he is a gamer. He loves it and I hear him playing it for hours. I am grateful for the doors as this instrument is LOUD. It warms my heart to hear him play a musical instrument. Well worth the money!

Look very nice, sounds nice, not all notes are tuned correctly
It looks very nice, but what other people said in the reviews is true: it's not tuned correctly, so buying it for learning how to play the instrument may not be the best option, but it's perfect for decor.

Looks Cool, Sounds Awful
This is an excellent item for Zelda collectors; that is about it.First of all, I will begin with the aesthetic. Visually, if you do not look too closely, it is beautiful. However, upon closer inspection, there are a few flaws, at least with the one I received.First, the left-hand index finger hole could be painted better. The paint does not go inside the hole or even to the hole's rim. It does not look bad, but it does not look that great either, at least in my opinion. This paint issue also creates a "rough" feel to the finger if paying attention to how it feels.Secondly, the ends of the silver band that go around the mouth area of the ocarina do not line up. The "end" of the silver band, which would generally meet the "beginning" of the band, is not aligned with the band's beginning. It is askew a couple of centimeters. Again, this is no big deal if it is just sitting on a shelf and not being examined. The silver band also shows imperfections such as scratches and chips in the paint. Once again, this is not a big deal. To those with OCD about things like this, like me, I would not recommend this item. Now, for the instrument part of this item... I do not know who their "professional tuner" is, but they should be fired. Out of the full chromatic scale of this "instrument," I counted only four notes that were even close to being on the pitch. Unless you are tone-deaf, you can hear how out of tune it is.Other than simply trusting my ears, I pulled out my tuner. Every pitch registered as sharp. Some pitches were barely sharp, and some were on the far end of the scale of being sharp. The only exception to this was B5 registering as Bb5. I did not even test the sharps and flats against the tuner because I did not even want to know how bad out of tune they were. I have been playing music and several different instruments for 18 years now. I have never seen an instrument this out of tune. Even the $1 recorders you can buy have better tuning than this thing does.Going above B5, there is not much of a change in pitch when playing the following note - meaning C5-F6 sounds almost the same. You can hear a slight differentiation between the pitches. However, if you have a trained ear and someone were to play an F6, you would not be able to tell it was an F6. D6-F6 also does not want to come out when played. About 80% air and 20% sound is what is heard. If you are looking for an ocarina to play with friends, this is not the one to buy. If you plan on learning and do not want to spend much money, this could be perfect. Just beware; it is probably not in tune. However, if you are serious about ocarina, I highly suggest getting an ocarina from an ocarina specialist shop. All that aside, I love it, still. I am a huge fan of Zelda. I am not upset that I purchased it because for the price, what could I expect? Lol. It is very aesthetically pleasing when sitting on a shelf to be seen from a distance. :)I decided to give it three stars because, as I said, I love Zelda, and it is most definitely something that looks cool sitting in a collection. For me, that is precisely where it will stay. I split the rating down the middle. It got zero stars as an instrument and originally got two stars as a prop. However, I gave it three stars because maybe I was just unlucky when it came to the visual defects of mine.

Works great. Love it.
It works great for a cheap price. If you have a hard time hitting the high notes, just look up a tutorial. It works great.
