Love the pillow. It's comfortable and offers support. Pocket can be used for hot or cold pack or turned around can hold something else like remote or glasses.

My surgeon did not recommend as they did not want anything directly against my chest but advised if I was just using for my stomach it would be fine.I placed it on my lap and having the side flaps helped to keep my under arms away from my body which helped TREMENDOUSLY - I would definitely recommend if using in this fashion for a mastectomy

I’m so pleased with this pillow. The perfect size and softness too. Great in the car to protect your incision from the seatbelt or just to hold around your chest at home when sitting and sleeping. The pocket is the best bonus for my cell phone. Definitely a must have item for after surgery.

Comfortable great for protection good quality

This was nice to have. I had a double mastectomy, and I am glad I had this. The only thing is I wish they had an option for sizes. I am a plus size woman but my chest area is not super wide. So the arm things did not really line up great unless I stuck the top of it right at my neck line. So when it arrived it was all squished in the bag. Vacuum sealed sort of. But it wasn’t very thick and fluffy. I even fluffed it up. I would say if you are a size small to large this would work great for you. I also used it after they removed my “wings” under my arms. Don’t get me wrong it is a great thing to have, just not big enough for a plus size woman. I did get another one that was homemade. I used them both. So if you have to have a mastecomey I would recommend getting one of these pillows. They were a life saver.
