Great for Custom Keyboards
Installed this in my new customer keyboard case and it worked wonders. I have a metal case so it made a clinging noise when I typed and this has completely removed that sound.

Great Sound Dampener for Keyboard
I recently purchased the Keychron Q1, and heard that it had a ‘pinging’ sound concern. And I’ve heard it for myself. But before I got it, I ordered one of these to help fix the issue and more. And wow, did it deliver! No longer an issue hearing key ping, or pinging in general when tapping on the keyboard, giving it a deeper sound!Great sound dampener for keyboards as long as it can support its thickness.

Exactly What the Doctor Ordered
I used this to make my mechanical key sound better, and eliminate case ping. After installing it, the difference was night and day. The only thing I didn't expect was how sticky the sorbothane was. I just assumed it was going to be rubber-like, not self-adhering. That made it a little more difficult to work with. Only other downside is that it was difficult to cut, but I made it work. Would totally recommend!

Works perfect
I used it to isolate a handle with a double layer for each hand so now I waste no effort in vibrations. Easy to place with duct tape. The excess I plan to use as bed to stabilize accelerometer chips output. Can find other uses too.

A Mechanical keyboard must
I bought a piece of this to put in between the back of my PCB and case. It significantly changed the sound profile and hollowness of my keyboard, and made it much more silent. It was super easy to work with and I'm going to be using this for future keyboard builds.

Good For Keyboard Modding
The product arrived without any physical damage or cosmetic imperfections.I have used Sorbothane as a dampener for a steel/aluminium plate of a mechanical keyboard. While it works great in killing the ping from a plate and making the keyboard sound better, cutting the holes for switches and screws/screw holes was an atrocious experience, to say the least.I may have made a mistake, when I pulled the plastic film from all sides of the material before cutting holes. Every time I tried to cut anything with either an artist's knife or a scissors, I had to run along the line for three-five times before finally making a cut. After only this fact, I am afraid of dealing with Sorbothane for any kind of project. The price for this particular piece is way higher than a Neoprene closed cell foam. As they both make pretty good job at dampening the sound of a plate, I don't think the point of going with Sorbothane, unless you want to go for that extra performance in dampening the sound/shock.

This made the biggest difference to how my keyboard sounds
This is AWESOME to put in your keyboard case to improve the hollow sound. This thing makes the most noticeable improvement to my keyboard vs. other materials for case foam mod. It's more expensive but it's honestly so worth it.Tip: sticking a piece of sorbothane inside your space bar key cap can remarkably improve the sound of your spacebar
