Great stuff! It was the first time we used resin. And it was so easy to use! We used the scale to measure it, but as long as you put it in just one container, and zero the scale after you put the resin in, you will have the correct amount of hardener, and stir it up until you cant see streaks in the mix, you will be fine! If you can, try to figure how much you will need by using water for a measurement of volume, but not weight! Then remember that it is 1 to 1, and you will need 1/2 of each one to get the correct amount by weight when adding them together! Water wont weigh the same, that's why you use water just to get a volume, and when you put the resin on the scale see how much it weighs when it is 1/2 of the volume of water, and just weigh out the amount of hardener equal to the resin, and you will have it perfect, because these two are virtually the exact same specific gravity, so weight will get you there! Other mixes may be slightly different, so if the specific gravity is pretty close, it is going to be ok!Hope that doesnt confuse anyone, but if you use weight, it is just a bit easier to do, cause eyeing it can actually be somewhat problematic if they are very different in densities! You might be farther off than you think, and you might either speed up your work time, lessen your work time, or never get anything but a sticky mess and a waste of time and an expensive lesson in mixing! Especially when your work is still there and not going to be properly setting up and will not be what you wanted, and everyone in the house heard about it, and even the dog looks for somewhere to hide until you mix up some more and try to fix what didnt have to be an act of Congress to do in the first place! I only say that because we learned of this happening, and was advised to not do that. It is always better to learn from someone elses mistakes, and not your own. Thank you! I am so glad to be able to read reviews, because back in the day, we didnt have this option, and acquiring this information was a lot harder to come by, and we had to learn the hard way! Especially when this process is not only difficult if you dont know anything about it, and it is an expensive endeavor to do, and when it goes wrong, it is a frustrating and time consuming process if you dont get it right! It is not stupid proof, so you just need to make sure you keep it the same, and when you follow instructions, this is one of the most misunderstood processes I have ever seen, by so many times I have seen it go bad due to just a little bit of difference can make all the difference due to the many types of different products being used and the many paradigms that people think you should use, and is so critically misused! That is why they have even gone to making the little dispensers that push out the same amount of each one due to the amount of times it has happened! When you see that, it is what they call "Compensating for stupid" Lol Hope you all found this just a bit informative along with just a bit of whimsy! Have an awesome day, and before you begin, pet your dog, and tell them everything is gonna be ok, and put down plenty of wax paper, get some de-natured alcohol for any messes, and get your gloves on this time, and do it in a warm ventilated area about 77 to 80 degrees so your resin will setup in a realistic timespan, or just break down and buy the UV resin, a UV light, and you will get your instant gratification by not having to worry about mixing it up, and waiting 4011 hours to see what happens, or put fingerprints in your work because you got impatient, cause you were tired of waiting for it to cure! If this happens to you, DO NOT TRY TO DO POTTERY, because you will be in for the biggest test of patience that the world has ever seen, and noone around you will be safe, and your dog will run away, and you will probably need to go to therapy for your lack of patience issues, and may find yourself incarcerated or be fitted for a straight jacket! That reminds me, I need to sell my kiln my sister gave me!

Best!
So I started with resin almost 2 years ago and I bought the small kit of Sig Wong. I'm still using it to this day because of how easy it is to use!Resin is NOT something simple to do, you have to do a lot of research before you can start. I'm seeing complaints from people saying that items are still bendy after 24 hours, that it bubbled too much, that it got rock hard within a small working time and smoked. All of things can be avoided if you do the proper research, use the proper tools, and get advice from others that work with it.The thinner the piece, the longer it will take to cure (meaning more than 24 hours). A lot of bubbles means you stirred with wood sticks and too fast. You have to use silicone and stir slowly, 5 minutes at the least for a proper mixture. If your piece bubbled, smoked, and became rock hard before you were even done, that means you had a flash cure. It's when you poured too much resin, you used this as "deep pour" when it isn't made for that, that your temperature was too hot, etc. All of this can be avoided with proper research.I love this resin and will continue to use it for all of my pieces along with advertising it when someone ask what I use. I appreciate Sig Wong for such a great product and the little extra goodies I received in my gallon shipment yesterday. Enjoy some pictures of my work!

Good resin for the price
This epoxy worked well, at at least 75 degrees. The resin got white chunks at about half empty, I heated it with space heater while mixing, became clear so much quicker. My only complaint would be selling the kit without the extras as an option. They just go in the gargage. Overall this brand works very well on my coaster and rock tables.

Professional grade
I’ve used a lot of different brand resin and this one by far is one of the top, especially mixing and eliminating bubbles. I used a power drill with a mixer and created not One bubble! Awesome Resin!!definitely recommended for professional or newbies. Don’t believe me. Try it yourself.

Great resin
I have ordered this resin multiple times. It’s a great value for the amount. My pieces come out beautiful. Make sure you’re measuring, stirring slowly and doing all the steps correctly! Doesn’t have a strong smell so that’s a huge plus!

Disappointed
I wish I had the experience others did. I’ve tried multiple pours all indoors with no temperature or humidity issues. Followed the instructions and used a scale. Still, this stuff won’t harden for me. Ruined multiple projects
