I was honestly a little hesitant about buying this product. I had only heard about it once or twice, but after reading reviews and seeing them on sale for Prime Day I decided to buy a few. My main reason for buying this product was for its long lasting properties. I must say it didn't disappoint. The first time I wore it was to a bar crawl and it lasted the whole day with only a little smudging and wear. I didn't even need to re-apply. The pigmentation of these lipsticks is absolutely amazing, especially for the metallics. The shifts are absolutely gorgeous. Another added bonus is that it smells really good it kind of freaked me out when I opened it up because I've never had lipsticks that smell good before. At the end of the day I didn't notice much drying on my lips, which is always a plus for me. Honestly I feel like I may have found my new go to brand . The quality of the product is worth the price.

so in love with this lipstick. Seriously. the color RAISIN HELL is fabulous! it goes on so velvety smooth & dries into the perfect matte finish. i applied at 4pm before my shift at work & at 11pm (after eating dinner) this lipstick was still going strong. i was completely amazed.it never dried out my usually chapped lips or shifted... although it felt a bit crackly in the corners at times, it still appeared perfect.pretty amazing lip product!!•the tank top photo is when i applied it, the jacket photo is 7 hours later. (no touch ups)

Edit- When I first got this product (as shown by my earlier review), it was very liquidy and never dried down, but after coming back to the product, I feel it is fair to come back to my review, as I find myself liking this more. It now does dry down (not sure why such a difference), with the exception of being placed over another brands liquid lipstick. When it drys down and WONT budge, I need makeup remover to take it off! The only issue I have is that it seems to have a odd smell, between candy and chemical. I bought both the Raisin Hell and Blondie- both are beautiful, but Blondie I tent to put over other colors because it is a bit light for my skin tone.Old Review:-I like the color, it was just a pit browner than the image shows, the lipstick does not seem to dry down like others of its kind and just transfers on everything! Teeth included! I did like the metallic look it seems to have, just don't care that it remains so liquid causing it to just come off on everything. package is really pretty.

As a makeup enthusiast & collector I have tried multiple brands, and what with the liquid lipstick craze there are so so many choices out there in the world! I however can honestly say that Lime Crime is one of 2 brands that are my only go to's when purchasing liquid lipstick. The formula and the pigmentation are just incredible. For mostly all their shades all you need is one dip of the wand into the tube and bam! Impeccable application. You can easily go a full day without needing to re-apply. The formula is not at all drying. I swear to you that you barely even feel that it's there! You can drink, talk, and eat without it smudging or flaking & there is indeed a scent to these. A slight cake batter scent is found but, not at all overwhelming. Another great upside to this, VEGAN & CRUELTY FREE!

I ordered the "Raisin Hell" color, and I must say I'm impressed! The color actually looks quilts a lot like the photo: plum raisin with a bit of a metal sheen. I had figured that this shade would be too dark and dramatic for anything but evening wear (which I had intended for anyway), but it still looks good with a more natural daytime makeup look as well.It goes on smooth, has a light, pleasant scent. It's easy to apply smoothly and evenly as well.Updated review 7/14/17 - I have worn this on a few occasions now, and I'm still impressed. It lasts pretty well even through eating and drinking. I will be using this lip color for an upcoming stage performance!

I bought this lipstick in the color Raisin Hell. The color itself is gorgeous. And it looks great on me. Until I eat. Then everything goes to hell. I went out to dinner the other night and I did have some greasy food and my lipstick looked terrible so I reapplied as best I could. When I got home I looked in the mirror and it looks like crap again. I was only out for a couple of hours, maybe 3 hours total and the lipstick did not hold up. I did exfoliate and moisturize my lips prior to putting this on but it still did not last very long. I have a lot of the Covergirl ColorStay lipsticks and they work just as well if not better then these Lime Crime lipsticks of which I have two different colors, the other one being red hot. I will not be purchasing this brand again as I get the same results with the drugstore brand. Also with the Covergirl ColorStay lipstick you get the lip balm which I feel acts as a barrier between your food or drink and your lipstick and seems to help it stay on longer. I would have given it only two stars but I do love this color so much. I just wish it lasted longer than 3 hours

LOVE this!!! This applied like butter. It's so soft and creamy and dries to a great metallic finish that will hold up all day and to most eating. It was more red than expected...I sort of thought it had a bit more pink or berry tone to it, but it's still gorgeous. Now I'd love to compare it to their Eclipse shade which looked like a darker red tone. The quality was excellent and I will definitely be buying more of these metallics.

the worst brand ever because they are not animal cruelty free as they claim. anyone who buys this or wears it is heartless.
