Fits and works
Such a simple tool. Works perfectly, built to last. Would buy again. I added a small nylon washer to keep the bottle stoppers from getting stuck. I’ve already turned 20+ bottle stoppers with it.

It works
Works as described. Holds the turning blank solid. Only thing missing is a plastic or nylon washer to protect chisel when turning blanks.

Too much play
I had high hopes for this product and using it on my lathe. Unfortunately, it does not hold tight. There is too much play once you have attached your piece to it. the longer the piece the more play there is. I finally had to just use this as a finishing piece. Any other use will cause uneven turning and just a big headache.

Drill bit wasn't included

Great chuck for bottles Stoppers or Turkey calls!
Great chuck for turning turkey calls on my Wen 18” lathe. I also have a 4 jaw chuck, but this bottle stopper chick makes it super easy.

Makes projects easier to make.
For woodturning handles for bottle openers or wine/spirits bottles, it simplified the process by making an accurate sized chuck to hold the blank.

Thread too big for stopper kits
The thread is uses is 9mm but all the stopper kits I see available use 7mm thread... I will be returning.
