Bought this for my Weimaraner so he'll leave our rubber duck pool chlorinator alone....So far, so good. After he's fetches, I don't let him use it as a chew toy. Hoping it'll stand up for the summer.

Sturdy, nice weight. Dog loves it.

We have used it heavily in training the Lab pup. The balance of the dummy mimics a live duck. It throws well into the water. After 2 months of use it still floats but the rope slipped and had to be glued. It is possible with such heavy use it was not possible to hold up. I still think for the price the training dummy was worth every penny. I have ordered a new one. Our Lab loves it.

There are reviews talking junk about this item but this is not meant as a chew toy! It is a training fowl people! We have a dokken as well and our baby actually prefers this one. I think, because it is lighter and also sits on top of the water. Unlike the dokken which sinks down into the water quite a bit. It is durable and the quality is great as long as you use it solely for the purpose it was made for and don't let your dog chew on it. We love it and so does our baby!

Tring fell a part not even 30 seconds after my dog got a hold of it. HUGE choking hazard to any animal. The ball that is “tied” to the string pops off freely. Can’t believe this item is allowed to be sold

I know this is a field training device, but I use it as a pool toy for my dog. He is hard on toys. This one is durable but not indestructible. It is by far my very lard pup’s fav toy. With supervision ( all training devices and water activities should be closely monitored), this device/toy should last years.
