These are AWESOME PERFECT water-color brushes. Holds the water & color of paint beautifully. I also like the fact they don't shed!! And they maintain their shape and are great for the money!!! Thank you!

I am a beginner watercolorist. Brushes made from natural hair do seem superior to artificial. They hold a lot of paint & just have better flow. Please note that these brushes are made in China. When I opened the package, there was an awful chemical smell. I left them outdoors to off-gas for a week before I used them. Even though I like them better than my artificial brushes, I would not buy them again due chemical smell as I don't know what I am being exposed to. I will replace them with brushes purchased locally that I can see and hold (and smell?) before buying.

This is a wonderful brush set- Highest of quality for a great price. I love sable brushes - always have - they were the standard when I was a kid studying art in high school -A Great Buy!

I wanted to love this brush but the tip let me down. Maybe the one I got was a bit of a dud, the tip is offset and forked which is pretty annoying to me. The color disbursement is on par with synthetic squirrel. I have a Jackson's Raven I like much better in the same price range.Went to return it and founf the price to return it is almost half the cost of the brush as UPS drop stores around here wouldn't accept it as they lack the QR code reader and don't do the bulk amazon returns.
