Ideal for using my Razer headset with my USB interface.
My Razer Kraken headset has a 3.5mm plug on the end, which carries the headphone and microphone signals. I wanted to be able to plug the headphones into my Focusrite USB interface to give me better control over the input levels - and hopefully better sound quality since the audio ports on my PC are really noisy. This simple splitter sends the mike signal to one plug and the headphone signal to another one. It still has 3.5mm jacks, so I needed 3.5mm to 1/4" adapters to use it with my USB interface. I couldn't find a splitter with 3.5mm in and 1/4" out, so this is the best solution. Please note - it's NOT a headphone splitter. You can't plug two pairs of headphones into one source with it. It splits the microphone and headphone signals.

High quality and exactly what I needed.
The media could not be loaded. Just a female aux into 2 male aux. I have a custom built pc and with many gaming pc’s the microphone and audio are separate so this solved the problem with connecting my steel-series headphones single aux male

Stiff connection but works well once connected properly
When I first went to use this there was a significant drop in microphone volume and signal clarity to the point where it can barely be heard (even with maximum boost) and a constant 6kHz noise across all audio recording with this cable (not present without). After filing for a return I thought I would try it one more time. The connection on the female port is very tight and what had appeared to be fully connected was in fact not. After forcing the headset cable in further there was an additional click and now it works fine.

Great adapter cable
Brought this product to replace an older one. Very surprised when it arrived, better made than expected and very sturdy and fitted into the sockets really well with great contacts. Recommend this Mic Spliter.

Super cheap
Cheap and a bit buggy and quality is very poor! The outer shell can off instantly. I glued it back on and plugged it in to my pc. Terrible as it really ruined sound quality by a mile and my mic quality was awful as well. Looks a nice colour just not the best product unfortunately. I’ve binned it as it was useless.
