Dog life vest
I have two Havanese dogs. I have a life jacket for each one of them. This is the best brand to support their head and bodies. All of the other lifejackets allowed the dogs heads to lean into the water. These do not. I feel as though they’re safe when they’re either in the pool or in the ocean. Highly recommend these life vests.

Labrador Retriever approved
Fits perfectly. Easy to put on my Labrador Retriever. The yellow-orange is bright and visible in lake water. The material is a thick, cushion about 1/2”. It is a cute life vest that is functional.

Great for active doggos
The size Small is perfect for our corgi. Fits great, not too heavy or bulky for his short legs and long body. We’ve had it for over a year and still looks brand new.

Fits great!
Fits wonderfully. I do have to remove my dog's collars' when putting the life jacket on, but her collars aren't waterproof, so they come off anyway! We've tested it in the bathtub but not the pool yet, and so far, it's working great!

Perfect for a water loving lab
Purchased a large for an ~85lb lab who lives for the water. He was unfazed with it on and didn’t seem to inhibit his swimming ability. Did however seem to help him stay a little bit more above the water so his head was higher and he could breathe a little easier. Would recommend!

Best investment for a dog that can't swim!
The media could not be loaded. My Shar Pei is between 55-60lbs of sinking, terrified wrinkles. After getting him from a shelter back in October, I quickly realized he couldn't wade far into water before becoming petrified of not being able to feel the ground. He couldn't swim to save his life even when he was brave enough to try :( After he practiced with this vest for about 3 days, he got the hang and now can piggy-paddle like a pro! Just today he got the hang of "flowing" with the water in deep areas while we'd walk up the river. He didn't need to find the bank, he could just swim through. The vest has held up to rigorous outdoor use, including his breaks on the bank running through tall weeds, sticks and up against rock. It goes with us whenever we head to the water. Light weight, fits perfectly. Fully suggest you invest in this item!

Good Product! Works well!
Ruffwear Floatcoat size smallSpoiler, this will repeat a lot of what the other reviews have said, they are right.1st, yes, this thing is pricey, but it is very well designed and made. I figured for something that has to work and last a few years, it's worth it. It's strong and fits like a glove on my Springer. She's 35# with a 25" chest. Size small per the sizing chart fits her just right.2- I like the single handle. I've used this style for years and it lets me slide my hand back and forth to balance based on what's happening in the water and I have the other hand free to hold myself. It is stitched very securely and reinforced.3- It has flotation material all around the chest.(But the straps can be exposed at the bottom. Not good. Her old jacket had a piece of fabric to completely shield the chest. We'll see if chafing becomes a problem.)4- The neck flotation encircles the neck completely with no chance of chafing straps. The trade-off is that it's a little tougher to get out of. Still learning here.5- The placement of the flotation as mentioned above let's her swim with head higher in the water; a lot less snorting, grunting and head shaking. This is better! She seems to like it just fine, as if it weren't there.Overall, I'm very glad I bought this one. I just had to get over the price; it's worth it for something that really works. Knock off one star because they should be able to offer this for less than 3X the competition.***I had been shopping to replace an Outward Hound jacket that lasted for 15ys(thanks OH!). But that version isn't available anymore. It's replacement has a dual handle which sounds great but I figured it would only balance correctly if using two hands. Nope, I need one hand to hold myself with.

Probably The Best Fit
It’s on the expensive side, but it fits my French Bulldog perfectly and it’s worth the money.
