Worked perfect w/ Hunter Douglas fans
This is not a Hunter Douglas downrod as implied in the ad. It is a generic downrod that works for most fans. That being said, it worked perfect. Arrived in perfect new condition. Color was a perfect match, worked great. Holes drilled in right places. Cheaper than the ones at the big box stores. Very happy!

Matches well with Bronze fan
This down rod matches perfectly with my bronze fan. The rod is 24”, the fan is a 55”, and the ceiling is 12’ high. Very happy with this purchase.

Down rod recommended to buy with Honeywell fan had issues
Down rod hole didn’t quite match up with fan hole. We had to cut out some of the gray packing to seat the pipe and get the pin through. After that all was good

Works great.
Just what it advertises. This is a 24" downrod color matched for the current line of Hunter ceiling fans that use downrods. Mine shipped with a 4" rod and this was a perfect replacement. However with this length you will need to fish the wiring as it doesn't want to feed through inside of the conduit willingly. Bottom line, it works as advertised.Note: That whole 5 minute fan thing is joke. It took me 5 minutes just to assemble the downrod! But once assembled they work. And even with the extra length, they don't wobble.

calculate cos for angle and then compared to length of blades to verify it was indeed the right length--but my know-it-all girlfriend just used the steel tape measure to measure down 24 inches from the fan mount and figured it out in like 3 seconds
This extender fit my Hunter fan perfectly and even matched the color. I have a rather steeply-pitched ceiling so I wasn't sure if it would be long enough/too short. I spend about 4 minutes measuring and calculating the heights of the walls, the hypotenuse length of the ceiling, calculate cos for angle and then compared to length of blades to verify it was indeed the right length--but my know-it-all girlfriend just used the steel tape measure to measure down 24 inches from the fan mount and figured it out in like 3 seconds, then chided me for wasting all that time with maths. I pouted for a few minutes then ate an otter pop and felt better. To summarize, this is an excellent metal pipe fan extender.
